This sauerkraut was really good.
This review is about the taste and quality of the product, not if the jar broke or there was a delay in getting the product. As a big fan of sauerkraut, this particular brand, I have found, is the best out there. The product is minced better than alternative brands and has a slightly less acidic taste as well. Excellent with mashed roast potatoes and pork products, highly recommended.
Be careful when ordering this item. When I received this package it was leaking liquid from the box. When opening box I noticed that the seal on one of the jars was unsealed and all its liquid had leaked into the box.
received the item and made a complaint that I didn't want the item because it didn't have an expiration date listed. I was told that I would receive my money back. I also let Walmart's staff know that I didn't want to receive this item again . I have yet to receive my money back , which I filed for the return of the sauerkraut on January 30th. Today's date is February 14th, 2024.

The online product description dose not list sodium bisulfite as an ingredient. I specifically bought this brand because it didn't have sulfites listed as an ingredient. I'm sure it taste fine but I was buying it for the probiotic benefits of fermented cabbage and sulfites kill bacteria so that kind of defeats the whole point.
Two glass jars of sauerkraut were busted. The box wasn't packed right, had juice and sauerkraut everywhere. What a mess. I even took pictures of what it looked like. It also States the only rectification I can get is the repack up the box and take it to FedEx. The box is wet don't even know if it would take the trip back to Walmart. Tried to get a hold of somebody and maybe get a refund on two jars but I couldn't do that so the only way that I can do anything is to write this negative feedback which I don't really like to do because I really like Walmart. But if you can't be packed right and it shipped to me and it's broken when it comes I don't know what else to do.
I dislike the fact that I was charged for the sauerkraut but it wasn't in my pick-up items.
What a mess! My sauerkraut jars arrived all opened with juice everywhere. These were not packed right at all. The outside of the box was all wet! No "Fragile" marked anywhere. Only 1 jar was safe/unsealed. The paper they were wrapped was soaked. Very poor packaging! Only placed in a ziploc bag. Please replace for new ones in secure packing. I can return them but it will be the biggest mess!! I guarantee that. Prompt delivery. All ruined due to poor packaging..
