Many non-apple cords work only intermittently or not at all. Not so with this one. It works for both my iphone 6 and my iphone 6s perfectly. We've used it now for over a week. If it's performance changes, then I will update this review.
It's very convenient to find these apple cable at Walmart. I dont have to drive down to Apple Store which is 30-1 hour away from home. I ordered it online and pick it up in store. I saved $4 doing that because they offer awesome discount if u buy it online and ship to store . Thank you.
From what I am see it is an genuine Apple cable, however they only don't include the original box. It's a great price for an original item, would recommend!
The charger was working perfect for like three weeks It was great, but then I put it in my phone as usual, and when it was done charging I took it out and the piece that you plug into your phone was stuck in there. I'm pretty disappointed because this charger was twelve bucks and I had to wait a week to get it.
I wish I could leave no stars. This product was the absolute worst. It arrived damaged. The piece that connects to the phone did not even have the wires attached properly.
the cable works for a while. But it stops working. It cannot charge my ipad air anymore after 3-4 weeks.
Haven't used yet, but definitely not Apple OEM. Not packed in Apple packing material and cords are slightly different. Hoping these work but will buy from Apple Store next time.

I bought this cord because it said it was authentic apple charger. I brought it home and it didn't even charge my phone! I returned it for another one, thinking it might just be a bad cord, and wrong the other cord doesn't work either!!!
This is going back! I have an iPhone and purchased this Apple cable versus other cheaper options specifically because it claims to be made by Apple. After reading stories of fake cables starting fires, etc. I thought this would be the best option. I use my phone to play music or listen to audiobooks while driving by plugging into the USB plug available in my car. I am replacing another Apple cable as I want to keep one at home and leave one in my car. However, when I plugged this new Apple cable it into my car's USB port and then into my phone, a message popped up on my iPhone6+ saying "this isn't capable with this device" and it would not play the music through my car speakers as it normally operates with the cable I already own (which was purchased directly from Apple). It seems it will charge but won't allow my phone to be recognized by the device (USB compatible speaker) it is plugged into. I considered keeping this and using my original USB cable in my car that works as it should but my iPhone also got very hot while plugged in using this USB cable and I don't care to chance this thing sending my home up in flames. It is going back and I will order the cable through the Apple website directly so I am sure I am not getting a fake. For a couple dollars more, I'd rather be safe than sorry than to risk the safety of my family and home. I am dreading the long wait at the customer service counter at Wal-Mart.
