[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with this router. It was extremely easy to set up using the Linksys app. The app literally walks you through step by step how to plug it in, attach the correct cords, reset the modem, etc. For a novice like me, that is very much appreciated! I replaced a Google Mesh Wi-Fi Router system and I find that this Linksys router is faster and provides better overall coverage, not to mention you don't have to mess with setting up extra satellites (although this system allows you to add extra satellites if you need them for an extra-large home). The specs say that this router will cover up to 2700 sq ft, but I find that it does very well with our 3400 sq ft duplex including out into the yard. The speeds are faster than what I was getting with the Google Mesh system, allowing me to take full advantage of my ISP's speed. You can set the Network name and password to be the same as your old router, so all your devices will immediately connect without issue. I currently have 27 devices connected to my network including smart plugs, security cameras, TVs, etc., and everything works as it should. I also appreciate that it is future ready for Wi-Fi 6 devices. My work laptop apparently has Wi-Fi 6, because upon hooking up the new router I immediately got a notification on my browser that I was benefiting from Wi-Fi 6. Very cool!! You can manage many settings from the Android app, including a restart if needed. There are even more features you can take advantage of by using the interface on your browser. It allows you to prioritize speed for your 3 most important devices. You can set up Guest Wi-Fi access, as well as manage Parental Controls, which allows you set up specific times for specific devices (such as a kid's tablet) and block specific websites. If you need more detailed parental controls, you will need to get a separate service. I'm very satisfied and Linksys has a good reputation for these products. Don't hesitate to purchase!

My son's PC is running as smooth as a baby's bottom. It brought the upload and download speed up to satisfactory, no lagging at all. I have the router setup downstairs while his PC is upstairs. Thumbs up on the range. Most definitely recommend!

Setup was a breeze and the router itself is stylish enough to leave it out in the open instead of hiding it somewhere. The download speed really increased when I switched over to this. The download speed increased some, but not a big difference there. I can tell that the pages are loading pretty quickly as well as when I am streaming online on my tv. Overall I am very pleased.
Working well in the attic and I am getting strong signal all around the house. Running three tv's, two phones,two iPads, and work laptop and not having any issues. Soon will be adding my switch and access points so I can get whole house on lan. Quick shipping and easy setup.
After new purchase of the MR5500, I was having trouble getting my hp Officejet 8600 Pro Plus to connect wirelessly. I'd had it connected to the preceding WRT3200ACM so knew it was something in the channel. The L2 Tech quickly identified the issue being with the Security protocol - the old device wasn't liking the new WPA Mix.
The router was extremely easy to setup and is super great. I have a blazing fast connection and can take advantage of the wifi 6 bandwidth on my ipad Pro!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for us to have wifi in our new house and mounted it the attic. We have full bars and no dead spaces in the 2100 sq. foot home. Even works outside on patio and front porch. I have a switch and AP that I am planning to add to the network soon and now might not need them since it works so well. Order a second unit for our neighbors who needed a router and they are happy as well with the performance.
Router was fairly easy to setup and works well. I only have one complaint. I wish the indicator LED was brighter. Sometimes when I shine the light of a thousands burning suns on it, it appears slightly dimmer. I mean, if you can't see a your router status in the brightest of all daylights, what's the point of the indicator light? I mean, it's not like this would ever be used in a bedroom, or on an entertainment center.

My only issue is once a day I have to unplug the router to get it to reconnect to my laptop. The router feels very sturdy and well made. Detail was definitely in this design
Took it out of the box today and it stays connected for about 5 minutes then looses connection. So frustrated
