My daughter received this as a gift right after she turned one. She LOVES it! Plus, she has turned tons on animal names just from playing with this barn with us.
This was a great gift for my 18 month old grand daughter. Once we took it out of the box she just wouldn't stop playing with it! The colors are bright and the animals are easy for her to hold.
This barn was a gift for our son's 1st birthday and to be honest he loves the animals alot more than the barn. I think him learning to play with the animals in the barn will come soon but he puts the animals under the seat of his ride on airplane and carries them all over the house! Alittle bit higher priced than it should be I think. Would be better at the $25 range.
I bought this for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. All the young adults at the party shared memories of how they loved their Fisher Price farm when they were kids. My granddughter was immediately fascinated with the animals and the sounds. A great purchase!
Grandparents and parents enjoyed sharing this farm with (grand)children. Many childhood memories were shared as we all gathered around and "played" with the farm. Enjoyed reminiscing and experiencing the changes made to this educational toy while sharing the fun. Something to be enjoyed for many years to come!
This is an awesome toy. I love all the little people toys, but this one is especially cute. My 10 month old plays with it and loves it. I would recommend it to anyone with a little one. Although it's made for ages 1 and up, I think some younger kids can start by associating the animals to their role on the farm with Mom and Dad's help.
I had this item sent to fun farm set site to store for my nephews 1st birthday. The ordering, shipping and pick up process was painless. When my nephew open the gift and began playing with the farmer and his animals I knew I had chosen the correct gift. The animals are a good size for little hands to grab and hold with ease. All of the openings are large enough for youngsters to enjoy even if their hand eye coordination is not finely tuned yet and the set is durable enough for wobbly standers.
I purchased the farm for my son's first birthday, hoping he would like it or grow into it. I shouldn't have worried at all. He loves it!! He loves to put the animals in different stalls, push the hay to make the sheep noise and put the animals and farmer through the silo. The only problem I have is that if you leave the gate open on the cow's pen the noise sometimes sticks and it just keeps mooing. I just purchased the tractor to go with this and I am sure this is just the start of what will be a huge Little People collection.
Okay I am biased as this is the 3rd model of the fisher price farm we have owned. The first was the 80's edition. The second was one I bought for my first son in 1999. and now this one. I like the one I bout in 98/99 better. Because it was the full farm house that opened. Not just the one half and partially open back. I like the ones that fold completely into a house type thing. No silo but still. I think it may have had some sounds but ya know what the sounds are what the kids are suppose to provide anyway. lol. Now I love little people. I love the quality of toys they have. I just wish they'd stop messing with their designs. If it isn't broke Don't fix it! LOL. I recommend because little people stuff rocks. Oh and the one I bought at walmart came with three additional animals and a dvd for the same price. So get it. It is colorful, and good quality. But if you are like me and have experience with the older versions and are hoping for that experience you may be a little dissapointed! I don't know how well play is because my son hasn't really touched it. YET.
I baught this for my yongest son for his 1st birthday. Well, we already had one that I had gotten for my oldest who is soon to be 5 for his 1st birthday, but decided to still get one for my youngest and send the old one to their grandparents to play with. Well, the first one we had was of much better quality then this one. It made many more sounds and it was easier to make the sounds with the old one. They still like the new one, but the old is still better. I don't know why they changed it. In the end the new one ended up at their grandparents. It just wasn't as nice.
