I thought we would have to freeze the container for hours prior hut nope! We could jump right in and start making ice cream immediately with ingredients already at home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter who is a toddler, I wasn't sure how I felt about it but I know little tikes always produces good toys/furniture for kids. Everything is included also, and it's a very easy clean up! You add all the ingredients and mix! It's perfect for all ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream maker is the exact reason wy I always search for LittleTikes products for my kids. The assembly is easy, the stand is sturdy, and it is built to last with keeping kids entertained in mind. We first used this a couple weeks ago and had a little ice cream party for the kids. They really enjoyed being able to add the ingredients on their own and make the icecream them self. We used the recipe it provided and added a few things like sprinkle and chocolate syrup and it was a hit! I was worried they wouldn't want to turn the lever themselves but they did and ever cheered each other and were so excited watching it. I love the little accessories it comes with, the ice cream tubs, scoop, tray, cone holder, and sprinkle jars are cute and made durable. Everything was easy to clean, no complaints there. It's such a great thing to keep the kids entertained. Once the weather gets warmer we take it outside and experiment with our own recipes.
My granddaughter loves playing with this ice cream machine. I've misplaced the recipe. Could someone post, or email, a copy of it. Thanks in advance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for slightly older children. The toy was really easy to set up. We were able to do it in under five minutes with only a screwdriver for assistance. The recipe included does make really good ice cream ! The only thing that I wish is that my kids had a longer attention span because spinning that thing for the eight out of the 10 minutes really became a pain. I think I'm gonna keep it in my basement and bring it out for parties and sleepovers, when there will be many children present.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves ice cream toys and this was no exception. It has the perfect amount of accessories and she plays for a while. Its a plus that it can make real ice cream too. It is not so heavy and can be moved around and even play outside.
I was surprised that the item arrived in a Walmart box not a tikes box. The first one I received the handle made a weird cranking sound and it broke off before ice cream was made. They sent a replacement but I had to package the broken one print a label and take to fedex to return it. This second one is making the same cranking sound. You have to spin the handle for 10 minutes to get ice cream so 1) I don't think it will last the handle will break off soon. 2) my daughter gets bored with the spinning for 10 minutes and waiting for the ice cream. I think for the price you can get another adult ice cream maker. I really liked the idea of her own little ice cream stand but the handle does not work well. Also the opening and closing of the parts where the ingredients go is also hard to open and close. It makes about enough for 1 ice cream cone. The second one also arrived in a Walmart box no tikes box ️. Returning is a bit of a hassle so I may end up keeping it.
I've now bought 2 of these for my daughter and both of the ice cream balls were cracked where the canister mounts causing them to not be watertight and therefore unusable.
Stickers already peeling off, screws didn't fit in the holes. Looked like it was used not brand new. So disappointed
