I got this for my then 8 year old last Christmas. She is now nine and plays with it all the time!!! It has a clip to clip it to a bag, purse or bookbag. It is great for car rides or for waiting in line. I got one for her 8 year old cousin for her birthday and she loves it too!! you can snap two together and your "pets" will dance together, the girls got a kick out of that.
It's not too complicated (which some might call boring), but my four year old finds it very easy to play with. She loves all the cute little things you can do. We might even get a different one so we can link them up!!
My 5 year old daughter never played with this. It was not what I expected it to be. The games are a little confussing and it is very boring.
