This release collects all four feature-length episodes from the second series of The Brokenwood Mysteries, New Zealand's popular crime mystery drama. The show centers around strong-willed Detective Inspector Mike Shepherd (Neill Rea) and his straight-laced teammate Kristin Sims (Fern Sutherland) as they attempt to solve crimes in the sleepy, but sometimes dangerous fictional town of Brokenwood. In the second series, Shepherd and Sims are faced with a potential serial killer, a group of egocentric thespians, a family of territorial fishermen, and the mysterious death of Shepherd's favorite singer. This collection features a behind-the-scenes featurette and a photo gallery.
