I wanted to find a good cheap mic for my sister to use for her animation. It works on the widows sound recorder, windows movie maker, and the audacity software we have. We've had it for over a month, and it works perfectly! We've recorded ourselves playing guitar with it as well. BUY IT!
Unlike my old microphone, I don't have to hold it up to my lips to register any sound. I can sit comfortably with this thing sitting three feet away on my desk and it still works great!
The microphone is very easy to use and very lightweight that it can be moved to place it where it will not be in the way of other computer items. Not bulky like my last one. Sound is great!
This microphone is just as good as other microphones that are more expensive. It is very clear and is sold for a great price. Other microphones sell for around $30.00, this one definitely works as well as those and is only about $8.00. Logitec is a good brand too! I even wrote this review with the microphone.
no need to spend a lot of money this microphone works great, no complaints at all. I use it with skype and simply love it, you do not have to talk directly into it, it picks up your voice and the other person hears you clearly.
Cheap, very light, and obviously not for making studio or professional recordings but for general voice or music recording with a digital recorder or tape recorder it performs well. Don't know how well it will stand up to use or abuse but I did knock it off my desk a couple of times and nothing broke so thats a plus for me.
Not the best but for the price it's hard to beat, if you need a microphone, buy it now.
I have to keep the mic a half an inch away from my mouth or peple say that they are having trouble hearing me.
I bought this mic mainly because I use a speech recog program to do some typing and basic computer work, I hate typing and it saves me some time. The mic is a bit bulky and huge, it functions well, has an ample, long, well constructed cord, the body is good, not that I would be placing the item under extreme conditions, but the body is strong. The swivel, seems a little weak, but smart people know not to apply pressure to swivel points so it is otherwise a good mic. Sound quality I can say, it blocks out background noise pretty well, I was dictating to my PC and watching TV at the same time and the PC not once typed what was being said on the TV.
I used this for my laptop for 2 days so my kids could skype with family. Anytime the mic was moved my family would quit hearing us. It was intermittent and didn't work all the time, so I returned it and am now looking for another. For now I call the person and put the phone on speaker and let them talk on the phone and view on computer.
