This headset works perfectly as advertised. It is very comfortable on the head, and doesn't move or fall off. The extra volume control and mute on the cable is a nice bonus. The only downside is I am not able to lean all the way back into my high back chair, because the headphone bar will push into my head. But I don't often lean all the way back anyway. Otherwise, a perfect product.
This is a very good product for the inexpensive price I paid for it. The sound is good and clear and it is comfortable to wear on your head.
I have had this since 2005 and it is the best i have a 200$ dollar headset and i have this and its so much better than the 200$ set i recommend this for games
I use this headset primarily for talking with guildmates on Ventrilo while playing MMORPGs, and a little for listening to music/watching DVDs. I have absolutely no issues with the sound quality - to my ears, it sounds pretty good. No complaints about microphone quality either. The headset did make my ears a little sore after extended use for the first week, but they've loosened up and feel great. The inline microphone mute/volume control feels cheap, but that's very minor. An extremely good value.
My 15 year old son and I were looking for some descent pc head phones. Me for practicing the drums, and him for gaming. I set myself up a budget of $50. I knew what I wanted, something with a remote volume, and possibly wireless. There's good response all across the sound spectrum. Haven't tried the mic, but it does ratchet out of the way if not used, and it does feature a wind screen to muffle annoying breathing sounds.
I bought this headphones for my granddaughter, Willow, and I. She is seven years old. When I have a migrane she wears them with no problem playing a computer game. I wear them when I am watching a movie on the computer so she can play with her talking and singing toys. They stay on her ears and mine both. When either her or I are wearing them the other one cannot hear a sound from the headphones. Glad I bought them.
Went to these in desperation for a quick replacement for some expensive headphones with mic. I didn't expect much because of the price but they're really good. The voice on it is super clear, loud even coming from the others. The headphones have good clarity too =)
Headset has good volume controls, good sound, and an okay microphone. Ive been told people have a hard time hearing me because I talk softer when playing games and dont feel the need to always shout. But for the price I would recommend for first time buyers and casual gamers.
I haven't had this long... got it about 3 weeks ago but use it almost every day. it's very comfortable and the speakers work great. the mic is very good about ignoring background noise. The only thing wrong with it i can say is that when i'm talking in Ventrilo i'm told that i'm quiet. my friends individually turn up my sound for there computers and i sound fine though. There i recommend this product, especially for the price. just remember to turn up your sound output and speak up and you'll be fine.
This headset has good sound. It's not the most comfortable and is not adjustable for around the back of the head like the top-of-head sets. No big deal, though. It's exactly what I expected when I bought it. Good value for the price I paid. Logitech has some good products and this is one of them. The on-cord volume control and mute button are a nice feature. If you need an inexpensive headset with a mic, then this will meet your needs.
