Golden Balm is my one go-to moisturizer for day, night, and under eyes!! I am 50+ and have , extremely dry, sensitive skin; I now have great hydration especially for under my BB cream and full coverage foundation! The cream is rich and thick and rubs in well. As a young adult, I remember my grandmother's advice on skincare: Use a cleanser and moisturizer for your skin type and be a minimalist with cosmetics. In fact, it was her counsel which led me to seek out a new moisturizer because the product I had previously used during the colder months was not providing enough moisture for my sensitive, dry skin. Before going to the drugstore, I researched skin care products online. In the end, I decided to purchase L'Oréal's Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition. L'Oréal's Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition is a thick, creamy moisturizer which when applied absorbs quickly into the skin. The moisturizer has a pleasant scent, and a little goes a long way. The result is soft, supple skin. Prior to moisturizing, I use L'Oréal's Age Perfect Nourishing Cream Cleanser. Overall, I have been pleased with this product. After using this moisturizer for the first time, I could tell there was a difference. My face felt nourished, moisturized, and appeared to have a healthier glow.
This is the absolute best moisturizer especially in the winter. I find that my skin gets especially dry from the heat and also the cold wind outside. It has been very difficult finding a moisturizer that combats these problems. This product does! I have a tendency to switch between different products. I have a couple of higher end department store moisturizers on hand and they don't even come close to handing the dryness like this product does. I would highly recommend to anyone with normal/ dry skin . It's amazing!

I have very dry skin, and some wrinkles on my forehead and creases around my mouth. I was out of my usual moisturizer so I decided to give this a try. I really wasn't expecting anything - but I was surprised to find that the wrinkles and creases are less noticeable and my skin feels (and looks) so soft. Wonderful product that completely lives up to it's claims.

This helps my aged skin. It feels good going on. It seems to lessen the red pigments in my ruddy skin. Makeup by Loreal looks better and stays on longer using this product.
I do NOT think this has an over powering scent to it! Compared to some I have tried it is a VERY delicate smell. I think it is very light and what light fragrance goes away after a little while. This feels great on your face. It is ONE of the best, I have found and I have tried them all. This and all the Simple products are 100% great products. I love it and will continue to be a user of this. NOTHING is going to work miracles, it just helps you along with a good diet and well maintained skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I receive this as a sample with an order, I tried this out to help relive my dry skin. This product is very thick and left my face so greasy that I wanted to wipe it off. Not to mention the "old lady" smell. I would not use again.
The first time I applied this cream, I used a different brand serum first then applied it. It didn't spread well or absorb, and I had flakes all over my face. So the next night I used my Loreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal serum first, and then applied the cream. The same thing happened. I could never use this as a Day cream. I will use the rest of the jar only at night and never purchase again.
