I was worried about WiFi from house to shed, but, as you see it works great! Very satisfied with the quality and ease of installation!
Lorex is the best security camera out there. Easy to set up and takes a wonderful picture too. I have several Lorex camera and finally, they came out with a flood camera. Could not be more happier because I purchased, great cameras, at a good price. Now my home has complete video surveillance.
I replaced our previous Digital Watchdog PoE cameras and a Ring floodlight with a Lorex system, upgrading to a floodlight camera. The wiring was easy to connect to the existing box and I liked that they supplied a hook to hang the lamp while connecting the wires. Syncing with the network took about 2 minutes. As with all our Lorex cameras, it just works. Simple and quick. My DW cameras were obsolete and could no longer be viewed from outside our home network. With the Lorex equipment I have great views on my phone from anywhere. The picture quality and viewing angle are superb. Highly recommend vs Ring, Eufy, etc.
Picture quality is far better than any other 1080 wifi cameras I've used!
It's very nice and precise but the light is kind of yellow,clear led will be better
Love this! Overall easy to install. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's jus a little too sensitive to movement, on a windy day you get LOTS of alerts.
I bought 3 of these cameras. In the instructions it says these needed to be mounted up high so for 2 of my spots they barely detect anything further than 6/8 feet away (I bought them for near a door), then nothing 20-30 ft away in the yard. Also, one of the camera won't reconnect (likely need to call the company now) after the power went out (the 2 others did). Also, these are constantly being set off but bugs even with the sensitivity turned down to 1.…. I currently have 20 notifications since midnight and it's 6:45am now.
I haven't been thrilled with the Lorex system I purchased 2 years ago and decided to replace the flood light that always seemed to go offline. After getting 2 different companies to come In to check and update the Wi-Fi system hoping that would solve my problem and it didn't; I purchased another flood light. It didn't help the offline issue with the flood light either. I will most likely return the camera.
There is a black spot on the camera lens and the speaker and microphone only work about half the time
Don't waste your time. Took us more time to try to get it to connect to our wireless internet. We were never successful. Spoke with tech support, and apparently he was the only one working that day. Because in the conversation he said he was having to help others at the same time. Finally on one of the hold times I disconnected the conversation. We took them down the next day, and returned them.
