If you want light and crispy fried food, this is it. Other brands I tried were a big let down......onion rings and egg rolls came out soggy and heavy. as did other things I fried. This is a keeper.
This item was wonderful and it make the turkey delicious after seasoning it the day before. I know for the Butterball Turkey Fryer you need 2 of these to reach the maximum fill to cover your turkey. I used this oil for the first time,there was no smoke or residue after using this item. It was expedient shipping on all the items and I love being able to shop online with Walmart, it really takes the pain out of it for those who do not want to be in the crowds...
It's the best oil for deep frying food. It's gives the food flavor and a crunchy crust. It also doesn't burn at high temperature like some of the other oils out there! I highly recommend it.
Better for frying in bulk. Consistant, lasts longer and will not burn quickly

I use this peanut oil to deep fry all kinds of things and the food always turns out really good.
lid bent inward so as to be in-usable: boyfriend had to use a pair of vice grips to pull lid up to allow opening %26 use. this should have never been sent out to customer
Liked that it was on time. Disliked that I received only 1 item.
After using for about 2 weeks it started smelling and tasting bad. On Wal-Mart app I started a return process. I was advised to return it to any Wal-Mart store. The associate as well as the so called store manager refused to do anything about it despite bad smell and taste that developedafter weeks as during those two weeks we partially used it. They made us take it back. As it was unusable we ended up buying another gallon hoping that it won't happen again We have been using Louana peanut oil for all our life and this the first we had such a bad experience. I called customer service and the agent said he will file a complaint with the corporate office. I received an email from corporate office apologizing but now I have to wait and see what further action, if any, will be taken by them. Very frustrating experience.
