[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shea Butter & Sandalwood Cleansing Conditioner Purposeful Hydration surprised me quite a bit. Because it works as a shampoo & conditioner, I was worried that it would leave my hair dry, but it did the opposite! It felt very light in my hands and almost seemed to melt into my hair which is an absolutely wonderful feeling for someone like me with thick naturally curly hair. As soon as i began washing it out, I could feel how soft my hair was and I fell in looove! I would probably use this product based on the scent alone, because it smells so good! But with how moisturized and soft my hair felt, it just makes this cleansing conditioner 10x better!
I love this conditioner! I stumbled upon this product in Family Dollar, and after reading the ingredients and how the products are processed, I decided to try it out. I have very thick, very kinky, coily hair so I know what works great for it. Even though the product said that it's a two in one pretty much, I still shampooed my hair before using it. When I put the conditioner in my hair, I feel In love with how my hair felt, and I let it sit on my hair during a hot shower and the steam helped the conditioner penetrate my hair even more! My hair loves the conditioner; this is a forever product for me definitely.
Really love this when I don't need to wash my hair but it still needs "something". Smells great, too!

The label itself is easy to read, I liked how it talked about the product and being Earth friendly. As you apply it to your hair, it just melts into it. After washing my hair I can start to feel how smooth it made my hair . The Shea Butter & Sandalwood cleansing conditioner purposeful hydration is my favorite product I tried of the 2 conditioners. It made my hair feel more smooth, which is what I would expect a conditioner to do and bonus of using it as shampoo too! Did I mention it smells amazing in your hair after you showered?! I give this a 10 out of 10!

I remember reading about it when it launched and hoped to try it some day...I was super excited when I received it FREE in my Crowdtap box! I received 3 full size bottles: Body wash, cleansing conditioner, and regular conditioner. I absolutely love the conditioner. Smells amazing, totally vegan and cruelty free, and makes your hair feel AMAZING. I have a very dry scalp in the winter and this product seems to help with that! Im super thankful to be able to try a product thats not harmful to me, animals, or the environment!
Smells amazing and it's hard to find the cleansing conditioner.....like wen only better.
This left my hair in AMAZING condition - bouncy, soft, and shiny - with minimal bleeding of my vivid hot pink/magenta/amethyst color melt. I mostly use dry shampoo to protect the color, but that does build up and sometimes you've just gotta actually WASH your hair. I thought the smell was pleasant and not too strong, and I love that this is vegan. It's a good-sized bottle for the price, and the pump top is convenient. This will definitely be my go-to product.
I like this cowash. It is nothing miraculous, but I would buy it again. It smells nice, the smell lasts quite a while, and it does not give me a headache (a lot of smells do). It cleaned my scalp just fine and felt ok on the length of my hair. I followed up with my usual leave-in and gel. You do need a decent amount of product to penetrate all the way through to scalp - *several* pumps' worth
The sandalwood fragrance is great if you like sandalwood, but if you are sensitive to smells it will be overwhelming. Gives me a headache. Otherwise, product works great.
Was looking for a new cleansing conditioner. What I was using has become hard to find and this looked promising since it had similar ingredients. The consistency is very thin for a cleansing conditioner and my hair was oily after one day! I was going three to four days with my old cleansing conditioner. Also not a huge fan of the smell, but I'm sure there are other fragrances.
