We were big fans of the Eufy Stick-On nights lights so we were eager to try the plug-in ones as well. We're very satisfied with these nights lights and we have them strategically placed in our home for our night time needs. Everyone has to get up in the middle of the night sometime to use the bathroom, check on a baby, get a drink of water, etc. No one, however, wants to turn on a bright lamp or hallway light when it's pitch black. Enter the Lumi Plug-In Night Lights. These night lights come in a convenient pack of 4 which is perfect for our home. We have two in the upstairs hallway, one in the bathroom, and one downstairs in the kitchen. We never have to turn on any lights now for any of the above situations. As opposed to the stick-on ones, these are not motion activated. They're activated by detecting how much ambient light is hitting the sensor. So you're not wasted a bunch of electricity during the day because they are plugged in (they estimate about $0.30/year). In fact, it needs to get quite dark for these to activate. And the darker it gets, the more it will shine. When they do come on, they give a pleasantly bright glow to light your way at night. It's not a overly harsh light, although you probably don't want to install these right next to your bed where you sleep. They're not “sleeping” night lights. All in all, a very nice product from Eufy. No more switching lights on at night or bumping into walls because you don't want to.
