This worked great for our science experiment series at church. Carolina Biological is amazing to work with. Will definitely be ordering from them again.
I was delighted at the ease of ordering, the rapid delivery service, and the quality of the lycopodium powder purchased from Carolina. This is the first time I have used Carolina to acquire the product and was very pleased at the quantity/price options. Lycopodium powder is great for demonstrating surface area. It works great in our mini grain bin explosion demo. I also use it to demonstrate hydrophobic. Put a scoop of powder on the surface of a beaker of water and you can put your finger in the water and it will not get wet. Students think this is pretty cool. The only bad thing is the price keeps going up.
