Not only did my shoe rack arrive within 2 days, but it was exactly what I needed! I was able to track it online, which was quite exciting. The assembly was simple and quick. I used a hammer to tap everything together on a hard floor. The shoe rack is very stable!! The design is appealing in my closet and keeps it organized. The price couldn't be beat for the number of shoes that it holds. I have 18 pairs of shoes on it, so I guess it's time to continue (shoe) shopping! I will probably purchase another one very soon. Apparently the cat was quite impressed, too~
Thisis a very good product. It is lightweoght in its handling and is easy to put together. I really didn't need the instructions for it. LOL It is a must have for you organizers out there in the world! My closet has so much room now because my shoes are not laid out on the closet floor. They now have a place!!! (smile)
One of the reviews said this unit is "not sturdy" so he/she applied wood and then it was sturdy. That person must not have assembled the unit(s) correctly. I had no problem assembling these units (bought 2 of them). I used a hammer to make certain each plastic piece was all the way down into the proper slot, then I placed each end on a solid surface and hammered the metal tubes into one plastic end, then attached the 2nd end piece, also using a hammer to make certain the metal tubes were all the way down into the holes in the plastic end pieces. Voila! Each unit is very, very sturdy. Each unit holds 20 pairs of shoes, and I got all of my shoes on both units. This is really nice. I had shoes all over my house. Now all of them are stored in my bedroom where I am the only person who sees them.
I recently received my new Shoe rack and am VERY happy with it! My shoes were all out on the floor of my closet and needed organization. I looked online at several models and this one accommodated the most shoes without being overly big and bulky. It was easy to put together and it looks nice. It was a great value for the price and compared to others others I looked at it was the best choice and meets my need perfectly!
I bought this to put by the front door for all the shoes that were dropped on the floor in piles. It works great for kids shoes of all kinds and tennis shoes on all shelves, the top one works for hiking boots and snow boots. Would not recommend for heels or lots of boots.
Holds 20 pairs of womens shoes, unlikely that it would hold 20 mens. Very sturdy IF you make sure that the metal crossbars are inserted fully into the plastic sides. Use a block of wood between the sides and your hammer and tap the crossbars in, being careful to not crack the sides.
its frustrating putting it together if your a big size in shoes like me it won't hold 5 per rack only 4
You really have to hammer it to fix the pipes in the holes. And during that there is no way you can assemble it without not ruining the plastic. I was worried that I will break it so didnt hammer it and pushed it hard but in the end I have to hammer it. But now it holds around 13-14 pairs easily.
The rack is good quality, but the dimensions are too tight. If they had made the space between the rows about 2 or 3 inches larger and if the rods were about 1 inch closer it would work better. It is difficult to insert and remove shoes because the space between rows is so small. And my wife's size 6 shoes almost don't rest on the rods because they are so far apart. The quality of the product is good, but it's just not a great design.
This product does have a very low design level and it is very hard to assemble, and when it is assemble it does fall back into pieces. I don't recommended to any one.
