The set up was really straightforward. Screws were already on the ends of the pole, and just required removing them and screwing them onto the metal sides. The color looks beautiful and the resize-able feature of the rack was just absolutely awesome. Now I can just expand the rack as I get more shoes, and for now it fits nice and snug in my closet.
The coolest thing about this shoe rack is that it expands to just the right height. I was having trouble finding something the right size, until I found this piece.
I have a little closet at entry to my home with a 24" door and inside it expands to one side at an angle. It's not very usable for coats. We like to take our shoes off at the door, so I decided to turn it into a shoe closet for ALL of our shoes. I was having trouble finding something that would make the most of the space and could go as high as possible, yet be stable. I looked EVERYWHERE. Here are the best things about these shoe racks: - VERY stable; I have them expanded to almost 40"; it says max is 43, I think; and it is as strong and stable as it is when fully contracted - The front rung is only slightly lower than the back rung, so shoes don't slip off and you could probably put shoe boxes on it if you wanted to. - It's very nice looking. If you had it in an entryway or somewhere it would be seen it would look good. - I have them stacked 6 high so far, and I plan to add three more. I'm not worried about it falling over because the connectors are very good. - Stretched out as far as I have it, I can fit 5 and a half pairs of women's shoes on each row, so each rack holds 11 pairs. Probably 5 pairs of men's shoes will fit across a row (my husband has to wait for the other three racks I'm ordering). - It took a little bit of time to assemble 6 of them, but it was very straight-forward. I did it while watching TV. My only complaint: The site-to-store pickup area at my store wasn't staffed, the "press here for service" wasn't working, and I had to ask three employees going by and wait 20 minutes before someone came who knew what to do. However, I like them so much that I'm still going to go through it again to order 3 more.
This product was easy to assemble and met my needs. Being expandable, the unit fit well into the space I had available.
I very happy with this shoe rack, I saved money by having it shipped to the store. Very easy to assemble, and it takes up a minimal amount of space. I only wish I had order more than one. I will most likely order at least 2 more.
Got two of these and they look nice and were easy to assemble. They are fairly sturdy and will see how they hold up.
i have tons of shoes and suprisingly for the price this rack actually works very well. i expanded it to just about as much as it would expand as am able to get 12 pairs of heels on one rack. they actually look very nice when they are stacked at least two high. i'm not sure how long they will last but for the time being i'm pleased with this product.
I just bought this shoe rack based in all the good reviews, and I gotta say people were right! I love it! I needed a way to organize all the shoes that we had by the door, we have a dog and it drove me crazy every time he would run over the shoes and just make a complete mess. Now my shoes are very nicely organized and I don't have to worry about my dog running around the house. Oh! It's very nice looking too ;) The only thing is that I wish it held more pairs (10 between my shoes and my husband's), I read on one review that it was tall enough to fit flats under it but well is not, so I guess I'll just have to get another one! :)
It's fairly sturdy after being extended almost as far as it can go. I bought 2 racks and fit 5 pairs of ladies size 7 shoes per row with boots on top. Taller shoes will not fit on the low racks. Also had enough room underneath for flip flops. All nice and organized but wish there was a little more space between the levels.
This is a very neat & compact way to organize shoes. It is low but not low enough if you have a upper & lower bar to hang clothes. I got it to put in the bottom of my closet but it was still a bit too tall. Overall, I like the look, its sturdy & easy to assemble.
