i got magic fabric for christmas. and i love it! it is so much fun to create these animals. i have to say the refill packs are a little pricy. but i absoltly love it. i also have to keep it away from my 5 year old cousin. because if i let her play with it and do her own then take it home, then if i ask,"where is your magic fabric thing?" then she'll say," opps... i lost it." well i love doing it. thank you walmart.
My 7 year old got Magic Fabric for her birthday. It took her one try with my help but after that her brother and her went crazy creating all kinds of kooky animals! It is a little hard to peel the shapes off of the pages but once they got the hang of it there were no problems. I am sure that we will be buying refill packs. Great fun craft with NO mess!!!!
I purchased this for my four year old granddaughter for her birthday. She loved it. It did require my assistance but a child a few years older could master it quickly. The refills are a bit overpriced but will buy them any way since we had such a goodtime together with this product. We played with this for hours.
my 6 year old just got magic fabric from her nanna and she is loving it. I had to help her work it out the first time, but now she knows how to create these really cute, friendly looking characters. definately recommend as great craft product and pretty good gift option
I bought this for my girls, aged 7 and 9 and I have to say I am really impressed. Product not messy at all. Got them away from the TV for AGES. They had so much fun creating cute puffy characters and creating all these danglers and decorating school books. I didnt even need to supervise! Great value, definately recommend this product.
My daughter wanted this after seeing it advertised on TV. The kit only contains enough pieces to make 5 animals, which my daughter and her friend used up in under an hour. Refill are pricey too -- @ 8 dollars each. My daughter was bored with this toy after making the first set of animals and has not even asked for the refills.
My advise to you is, just buy the little refill sheets on their own. When my daughter assembled one at home, we found that the little pressing machine wasn't really necessary. You can easily press them together by hand. I'm thinking she should return it and get her birthday money back.
My 6 year old daughter received this as a birthday gift. We had to throw 3 (of the 5) animals away because we could never get them to stick together (not sure if the backing wasn't coming off property). When we finally able to complete one the arms, legs, and ears would fold down and stick to the body of the animal. We were very disapointed in this product- best advice I can give you- don't waste your money!
My kids, 6 & 7, had fun with this product for about 10 minutes and then were done. This product is WAY overpriced. I'm planning on returning it tomorrow. You don't even need the press, it's just sticky tape you can easily press with your fingers. Buy something else!
My daughter got this for her birthday, we read the directions and tried to make a little puppy. Well the fabric is not magic (lol) it has adhesive backing, the bummer is it peels off, leaving the fabric pieces useless, and my daughter really upset. So don't waste your money!
