I think that the previous reviewer has this comforter confused, because I bought it at the store and it's actually quite thick (it was rolled up like a sleeping back and was just as thick!). It's also very soft and has no smell to speak of. My only complaint is that the lighter side is more pinkish than it is purple (I'm not a fan of pink), but the darker side is very pretty. I don't know what went wrong with the other reviewers, but I love this comforter!
I am so thrilled with my new comforter!! I have been looking for a while now for an inexpensive comforter that would look good in my room. (Not a kid/teen anymore but not an adult yet!) This is perfect! I'm constantly irritated by finding cute comforters for a good price and then finding out they either are only available in twin size or cost $20 more for a queen size. But this is $19 for any size!? How can you argue! I was so excited when it arrived at site to store pick up. Rolled it out and put it on my bed and love it! So easy. The colors this is available in is also fantastic. Not to mention every comforter comes with two different shades to choose from. AND best of all, it doesn't feel or look "cheap." The fabric is actually really smooth/soft to the touch, almost silky. All around a great buy, and I would recommend it to anyone else! Tip: Since it is so tightly rolled up in it's packaging, I would definitely recommend throwing it in the dryer or something to fluff it up, otherwise it looks pretty wrinkled at the bottom. But no big deal :)
I went to the store and it was not there and I was very upset, so I came home and went online to complain. That is when I found out that I could order the item to be shipped to the store of my choice! I did so and picked it up and I love the comforter. It is the color it appeared to be in the ad and I could not be happier with the purchase. I would rate this product all 5 stars in every category.
The comforter is a very pretty purple, it is quite soft, and not to heavy for the warmer summer months. When I unrolled the comforter from the bag it had alot of wrinkles and looked a bit messy, but after streching it out on my bed and smoothing it out most of the wrinkles and fallin out.
The comforter was on a "deep" sale. I expected it to be a little thicker than it was,, so I am a little disappointed there. The colors are bright and vivid. All in all, a good purchase.
The comforter is very thin, so if you need it for warmth look elsewhere or add other blankets.
I was thinking about buying this for my four year old. Went to see it in the store and it is as thin as a sheet. DO NOT BUY THIS unless you have a real comforter to put on top of it!
I bought this thinking it would be an asset to my 'purple' bedroom, it has a weird chemical smell to the comforter, so I decided to wash and dry it (on a low setting) and it came out all scrunched up with big knots in it which wouldnt come out, so I took it back for a refund.
