I didn't want to spend more than 350$ on a futon. Shopped all over online until I found this one. It got good reviews so I tried it out. I have to admit, it meets the hype. I've been using it every night to sleep on. I especially like that it doesn't LOOK like a futon at first glance. The foam in the arms could be a little harder, but that is being very picky. Very happy with the product.
We are very happy with the couch and is was in good condition except for a small tear in the black fabric tube on the frame. Assembly was easy and it works well. Shipping was on again off again but did get here and was brought to our door. The fabric tear appeared to be from rough handling during shipping.
This is an awesome futon! Its very comfortable for long time use. Its very big weather you use the couch or the bed it has a lot of stretch out room. This is a great futon to get if you are in college like me and need a couch and bed in small area :) great deal if you can fork out the extra hundred its worth the value.
This is a very good couch to sit on, I do not use it as a bed. The only negative thing about it is that after you sit on it for a while the pillow material starts to loosen up a bit but still is presentable looking for the price and surprisingly comfortable. The arm pillows attached need a bit more stuffing so I took an old pillow and added stuffing to them and now they are more sturdy. All in all it serves the purpose if you cannot afford a regular new couch.
At first, I was going to give this 3 stars because the experience of putting this couch together was awful! The parts seemed to be asymmetrical and my boyfriend and I had to literally force a couple of pieces to come together (the metal part of the couch that holds the cushions). BUT, I must say that based on how my couch looked afterwards, I was quite pleased. I ordered mine in black to give a good compliment to my brown accented wall. The look of the couch looks clean, classy, and pretty neat for the most part (not sloppy looking). At first glance, you wouldn't know that this was a $342 couch. To me, the cushions aren't super soft but pretty comfortable. My whole body can fit horizontally with room to spare (I'm 5'6")! I just moved into a new apartment and besides my bed, this is my first official piece of furniture. I'm happy with it. But beware of the time it may take to put this couch together. It was a pain for me, but it's worth it if you have enough patience.
I am thoroughly happy with my purchase of this couch. It was easy to assemble, taking only about 5 minutes and needing no tools............For the money spent it is a nice, acceptable piece. It perfectly matches the chair I bought with it also. It holds heavy people with ease . I am very satisfied.
I had been looking for a couch for our playroom. I had another one in mind to buy but it was discontinued. We ended up with this one in brown because everything else that I liked was sold out. It is a nice couch....basically an upgraded futon....but for my purposes that's fine. It sits comfortably....not too soft but a bit firm....good to keep me up and moving though. It looks pretty much like the pictures. It folds down very easily but their is no place for storage for sheets/blankets if you wanted to use it as a bed for guests. We did buy the Design4Comfort Faux Leather Storage Ottomans and I may use the large one as storage. It seems like it will be kid friendly and wipe off easily. Make sure you have someone to help bring it in when the box is delivered because it is a bit on the heavy side. Setting it up was so EASY! We had it together in 20-30 minutes. It took longer to move the old couch and vacuum under it than to put this one together. All in all I think it is a good product for the money.
I have had this sofa bed for a little over a year and now I have to buy a whole new one! The springs in the cushions have sagged and mangled so badly that you could not even sit on it. I tried to salvage it by putting the messed up cushion on top and the cushion from the back on the bottom to no avail. It just sinks down into the couch. The mechanism that allows you to make the couch flat went out months ago it gets stuck in a bowed shape and then wont go back to its original couch shape. its being supported by the wall right now! This couch has had normal use no one has jumped on it climbed on it took a bat to it or anything crazy. Just two normal sized adults and one child. (man 250lbs, woman 140 lbs, child 62 lbs) We used our couch everyday to sit on and thats it.
This is such a waste of money. The springs of this sofa are coming out, in under one year of use. The coil and material is of low grade material. the sofa is sagging and if you manage to sit on it.. the coils are pressing into the skin making it unsittable. Do not buy.. it is waste of money
I have had this sofa a little over a year. For the first few months we rarely used it and it looks nice and is comfortable to sit on (although a little firm). Then it became our main sofa. After a few months it became unusable, as you can see from the pictures. The cushions are sagging, springs stick up and are extremely uncomfortable to sit on. My son spilled my husband's water on it which completely ruined it - making the cushions shrivel up. This sofa is going to the dumpster!
