We have the Carmen Ghia car and small camper set. The packaging is really nice and add some flair to what's inside of it and gets you excited about it. The paint job on the camper in the car is top quality and the metal feels of quality as well... not too heavy not too late. Would provide hours of fun for kids to play with or would look nice sitting on a shelf as a collectors item as well. We would recommend this brand for their quality toys and awesome Packaging.
These cars are always a hit with my son! We have many - what he liked about this one is that you get 2 in 1: A Firestone Ramp Truck with a 1969 Corvette Coupe. So you can play with these two together and have loads of fun ramping the corvette up on the truck. The silver ramp extends up and down for easy ramping! This is a great set!! We love it.
I decided to review this product I have a 10 year old boy who loves cars. It seems to be very well made and seems that it will last a good while. He loves to play with it with his other cars. The colors are bright and I love the paint job his favorite colors are red white and blue so this seemed to be perfect for him.
This is a nice quality, very detailed, 1:64 scale, diecast Ramp truck with a matching 1969 Corvette coupe. My son, who is a big fan of cars and trucks, has been playing with this set for the past two weeks. The wheels, on both the truck and car, roll smoothly. My son is using the ramp truck to haul some of his other vehicles. I love toys like this that promote imaginative play. Great toy for play time or the collector!
This little set is so cute! The details in the transport car and the car being transported is so precise. They come in a box that is simple to get into and are packaged inside in plastic. Very easy to get out, no plastic ties or tapes to get through. The ramp on the transport care slides up and down effortlessly to load the car. My grand loved it! Playing on the carpet with them is a fun pastime.
I guess I had the wrong understanding of just how big/little these cars were going to be so that is on me. My son seems to love it so that is all that matters in the end, right? The detail is really good though. The trailer detaches if you prefer and both parts move effortlessly.
I really like the design of this collectible. Looking at it causes me to want to go on a long road trip. Build quality is good, although the "slammed" trailer didnt roll that good and hitch could use some design improvements. I do wish that a toy like this could transform for the camp experience. My son doesnt think it is cool at all.
Maisto Design 1:64 Elite Transport - Maisto flatbed / 2018 Ford GT is a great gift for someone who loves cars. Real rubber tires, diecast with some plastic. My son loves to play with this toy, and seems comparable in quality to other 1:64 diecast model cars on the market. The doors do not open but the detail on both flatbed and car are fantastic. I would recommend ages 8 and up, as the manufacturer suggests, mainly because the pieces under the flatbed that connect and allow it to move are plastic and could easily break if you play with it too rough. My son's other 1:64 diecast cars all work with this flatbed. He liked how it was two toys in one package. It was packaged well and would make a great addition for a collector. Great gift for a kid that has lots of diecast cars because chances are they probably don't have this particular one. My son has over 100 diecast cars, but none like this. My husband, who also enjoys diecast cars, said he would expect to pay around $8 for this set if it's to be given as a toy, due to its comparable quality. If it is for a collection/collector price would be okay.
The Maisto Design Elite Transport really appealed to my little car and truck enthusiast. The set comes with a truck/transporter and a smaller passenger car which fits on the tow bed. My son loved the colors and design of the Elite Transport, and he was really excited when he found that the tow bed of the truck was the right size for many of the other cars in his collection to fit on. The Elite Transport is made of both metal and plastic pieces, and is better suited to older children who will play less aggressively with it than toddlers and younger children. One problem that my son noted is that the frame of the truck and car are set very low in relation to the wheels - this makes smooth rolling difficult on carpet or if you push down on the vehicles while moving them, even on smooth surfaces. It may be best suited for display, but my son can't resist imaginative play with vehicles of all types - so we'll see how long it lasts.
When I ordered this I was under the impression that it was 3 different vehicles, not just one of them. That is fine because this particular item is for my husband, the big over grown kid. This will be a part of his Christmas presents. Yes like most men he collect cars. I do like how this is made, it is very sturdy and looks just like the real car it is representing. I think he will love it.
