I can not get enough of this Apple Crumb Cobbler from Marie Calendars!! I can eat the whole thing by my self with some vanilla ice cream. It's hard to find but totally worth it!! I haven't bothered trying to make apple cobbler because this is so good!!
With out a doubt ; the best Apple pie I have ever had . As consistent in texture and flavor as the sunrise . I can't imagine anyone not making a second trip to get this pie again . Worth every penny . Please , don't stop making this pie .
I applaud Marie Callender's apple pie as well as many other foods provided. I've bought her foods for many years & have enjoyed all of them except the spaghetti. This delicious apple pie is great!! Great job. The only thing I added to it was oatmeal & butter for the crumb topping this Thankgiving & everyone loved it. Thank you & keep up the great work.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Marie Callender's apple crumb cobbler. It was full of thick Apple slices with just the right amount of glaze. The crumb topping was delicious with a heavy amount of cinnamon and nutmeg just like I would use if I were making it myself. We did need to bake the cobbler longer than the package instructions but by using instant read thermometer the results were fabulous. Will definitely be buying this again. With the product as good and easy to make as this, why bake from scratch?
I have bought this cobbler several times and I love it! Some poor reviews are just related to the bake of the product-the first time I made it I realized I needed to adjust my oven shelf to ensure proper even baking. I also place this on a cookie sheet for ease of taking it in/out of oven. I have never had an issue with not enough apples and I think the crunchy streusel on top helps even out the sweetness of the cobbler. Try it, just make sure your oven shelf is in the proper place and you have even heating, and you will enjoy this cobbler!
Was looking forward to trying this with the always tasty crumb topping. However it was missing from the box.
Love the peach cobbler and have tried the Apple Crumb Cobbler two times with the same results - not that good. The apples are great - the problem is in the topping. Too much of the oat (think that is what it is) and not sweet or crunchy enough. Love the other MC products just think this one is missing the mark but could be fixed pretty quickly with a better topping!
I bought the apple crumble for dessert after 4th of July dinner. I opened the box and THERE WAS NO CRUMBLE!!! I was embarrassed and angry! I can't eat this pie. It has no crumble top. I like the apple crumble cobbler. My family and I were looking forward to eating this pie. We are now disappointed. I want my money back!
A one tenth serving of this pie had 28 g of sugar!!!!!!!!!! No wonder people are suffering from so much obesity and diabetes. A normal one eighth serving of this 8-ish inch pie would amount to 35 g of sugar or over 8 teaspoons!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE PROVIDE HEALTHIER PIES
I love Marie Calendar's cobblers, but this particular version fell far below their usual quality standards. The most appalling aspect was the bottom crust which did not bake through even though the top and sides were cooked perfectly. (I tried to bake it longer but it ended up overcooking the top and the bottom never finished .) The flakiness of the crust was also disgusting. Other problems included the filling tasting cheap and not packing the usual punch of flavor; and the crumble top didn't bake well and tasted like bland breadcrumbs. I bought this for my husband's birthday and it was a major disappointment for everyone.
