This has to be one of the best premade, frozen coconut cream pies I've ever had. The crust is flaky, the coconut custard is loaded with coconut flavor, and even the whip cream on top is fresh tasting. It even has slivers of toasted coconut on top. It is frozen solid -like a brick-so you want to make sure you defrost it in time, as it can take awhile to fully defrost. It is one of my family's favorite!
For me I love coconut especially when it is in such a great desert as cream pie. I find that marie calendars coconut cream pie is very delicious. It ranks up there with their banana cream pie. Even if you don't think it would be good cause you don't like coconut you might wanna try their pie because it is that good that you might end up liking it. I know from observing my boyfriend enjoying the coconut cream pie even though he does not like coconut. Its that good!
Marie Callender's Coconut Cream Pie is delicious and perfect for any occasion. It's easy to serve, and the taste is wonderful. Marie Callender's is a great brand with good products.
This is actually one of the better frozen pies I have had. I love that it has whipped topping and not meringue. Takes a little while to thaw in fridge but once it does your tummy will be happy. [product:marie-callenders -coconut-cream-pie] The crust is ok, would be better with graham cracker crust.
My mother-in-law picked a Marie Callender's Coconut Cream pie out at the store. These are good and the crust is flaky, but these pies are not as good as my mom's homemade pies. My mom gained a reputation for baking pies when she was about ten years old; and it's a family tradition to bake pies.
We always have the coconut cream pie for Easter, and this year was the first time we were disappointed. The flavor of the entire pie was bland, as if the coconut and sugar was forgotten . Big disappointment!
Whipped cream pie the actual product is nothing like the picture on the box. The coconut cream is a small thin layer about 30%, 70% is whipped cream, taste is ok but it's like eating whipped cream out of the dispenser 🙄.
We used to buy Marie Calendar thaw and serve cream pies for every holiday and loved them. This year for Easter, I purchased two, one coconut and the other banana. We thawed them both as instructed in the refrigerator overnight. They both were very disappointing, they fell apart when we attempted to cut them and the topping turned soupy and ran off the top of both the pies. It is not just your company, we have noticed low quality products coming from most companies , just wish we could find one that keeps the standards they formally had.
We always have your coconut cream pie at every holiday, last one on New Years Eve…and wow, this one missed the mark with an absolutely tasteless, bland pie. Barely any coconut, or sugar! And the crust had zero taste. This was not our usual experience, we've had enough to know that. The pie was off center too. And seemed to have more whipped cream and less cream filling. Definitely disappointing!
Very dissatisfied with this pie. I do not eat sweets that often, but when I do I feel every calorie should be enjoyable for the moment. This pie was not worth it at all. Ended up tossing the pie because of the lack of flavor in the filling the crust was extremely dry and fell apart. I would not recommend any Marie Callender's dessert pie.
