used these about six years ago and they are still in the ground doing there job. have never had to replace any of them. now I am putting in a new flower bed and I am using these for the new border area. easy and simple to use sturdy, don't need to be replaced
Needs to be 6 inchs longer if to be used in loose soil

I have read reviews about ways to make inexpensive stakes but I'd rather pay a little more for something very easy to use. These are very easy. I just used a mallet to hammer these stakes in the ground and I'm done. The top notch slides easily over edging, holding it tightly in place.
Works seamlessly with the Master Mark edging.
Product works well and is simple to install.
These either need to be sturdier or have a metal tip so they penetrate the ground without bending. Waste of time, energy and money.
You don't necessarily need the to place the Master Mark Plastics edging if you can dig a trench to set it in, but it does help with placement even with trenching. I found that they don't quite get enough purchase with the 5" edging in some situations, so a 12" stake would be nice.
Walmart shipped the stakes then cancelled the border they went with requiring me to drive 1/2 hour to and 1/2 hour back from Walgreen to return the stakes as they are useless with no border. Suggest you check closing that Walmart can fulfill the whole order before placing
