We bought this for our grandsons' birthday, but the adults ended up rolling it around--not because the kids didn't want to but because it was so much fun. I'm going to buy one for our house too. It takes a few times to get the hang of it. I would recommend letting it sit for ten minutes after the thirty minutes of rolling to let it freeze all the way through.
Only used 1 time and the only problem we encounteredwas the ice cream had frozen so hard in 1st 10 minutes, it very difficult to scrape down sides and even harder to get out of container. We had ussed an ice cream mix rather than going by the included recipes so this may have been our problem. We plan to give it more practice before we make final judgement. The kids had a blast making the ice cream.
The grandkids can have a great time playing with the ball and have a reward of homemade ice cream when finished. Great product!
This product was exactly was I was hoping it would be. It is kid friendly and easy to use.
