I love this piece. I needed a little help from my husband to put it together, but when it was done, it has worked out very well. Not cheap feeling or lightweight. Have only had it for a few weeks, but so far so good. Not started falling apart or anything. Great piece for the money. Just tricky to put together.
This is an excelent product specially for hiding the trash from the animals in the house. It looks very nice.
Very nice looking product. Hard to assemble. Product looks great and fills our need.
Although this is made with cheap wood, we put it together in relatively short time. The wood on the top part was roughly made so you may want to sand it a bit. I added some furniture polish to it as well.
for a few more dollars I mean $15 to 25 on the list price, the mfgr. could have used twiss lock screws for assembly of sides "A" & "B" to shelves and made sure the shelves were cut square. This assemble was so poor it is a very design compared to the quality od a Sauder peice of furniture. Not in the same league as the Sauder or Rubber Maid furniture. jk
Really like the look and use of this product but it is nearly impossible to find a trashcan that fits it appropriately. Had to take an existing trashcan that was too big and cut it down. Would only recommend this product if it came with a proper trashcan insert
1. Regarding "easy assembly": Hire a handyman 2. Dowel holes: Wood splits when you insert dowels 3. Glue included: Enough to ALMOST assemble one of the three drawers (all 29 pieces require glue). 4. One of the screw holes for the hinge interferes with a dowel hole on the bottom assembly. 5. After a difficult assembly that required several creative workarounds, the final piece (the top) had pre-drilled dowel holes which did not line up. Final analysis: This unit is now in our kitchen and is a functional trash can/cart. You get what you pay for.
This thing is a nightmare! It is NOT easy to assemble. Before we could even attempt to put it together the top came with scratches and the glue that came with it was empty! Very disappointing! We have emailed the maker and hope to hear back from our complaints!
