My granddaughter loves to bake real cookies and used lots of other toys including the wooden mosaic tiles to be her pretend cookies so this was perfect for her. The bonus was the mitt and the only downside was that the pan doesn't fit all the way into her kitchen set oven. She doesn't mind.
Likes: Our grandkids, 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 both love playing with this set. We prefer wooden toys, and this set is very well-made. Great quality/value for the price. The included oven mitt was a huge hit as well, and the kids tend to wear those all day, even when not playing with the cookie set. The velcro pieces are inset, which is great for longevity of use when the cookies are "cut" with the wooden knife or taken off the tray with the wooden spatula. Overall, this set should last for many years and has certainly been a favorite in our home for the grandkids! Dislikes: The only thing we disliked about this product was the flimsy end cap closures (pictured next to the red cookie roll container. One end cap is red and the other gray). The weight of the wooden cookies pops the thin end caps out and the cookies fall on the floor. This is not a big deal for us because we decided to store the cookies on the sheet when not in use. (Not worth taking a star rating away). If you want to use the cookie roll container for play and/or storage, you could tape one end to secure it in place.
our local library had these and my 3 year old loves to cook and bake. I found them on here and bought them for home. he loves them and places with them all the time. they are fun and easy and pack away very nice!!
My 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter LOVED this. Was a big hit. She likes order and the fact they stick together and can be cut she loved that. I've already ordered several other items. She was home sick today and she played with this for over an hour.
Got it on sale and my kids really enjoy it! They played “baking cookies” or some version of cafe for hours yesterday. The quality and design are good. It's very thought out and was easy for my 4, 3, and 19 month old to utilize in one way or another.
My kids have absolutely enjoyed this toy so much. They have a little kitchen and bring me cookies all the time. Easy clean up.
So cute. Wooden cookies , tray and knife. Cookies attach to the tray by velcro and icing attach to cookies with velcro. Cookies stick together with velcro and can be "sliced and baked" in kids play kitchen. They love it. I got it on sale . I feel melissa and doug items are overpriced. Items should last a while.
My 4 year old son actually snuck on my app and ordered it, didn't know anything about it until it was delivered the next day 🤦🏾♀️. But he loved it, he has other kitchen items and accessories so it added in just fine to his collection.
OMG soooo cute! the "dough" sticks together so you can slice and put on the baking sheet, be extra careful with your oven mit, use your spatula to remove and cool, then decorate! Everything fits into the tube container, thank you!!! For a kid that could spend all day making cookies, or pizza, or celebrating his birthday every day, Melissa %26 Doug hit it out of the park every time!
We loved the Ice Cream Counter but extremely disappointed with the cookies. One cookie had the velcro installed wrong so it doesn't stick to pan or make the roll, frosting pieces had small chips in paint, and cardboard roll had a small dent!! Very disappointed!! Sent customer care an email this morning so hopefully this quality issue is resolved
