I bought this shopping cart along with the kitchen set and play food. My granddaughter loves it! She uses the shopping cart to "go shopping" and deliver her "meals" to people, plus she gives her dolls/stuffed animals a ride in it! Perfect for imaginative play!
Having purchased other Melissa and Doug products in the past, I was not surprised by my satisfaction with this toy. I can hardly wait for my two young grandchildren to open their gits on Christmas morning! If the delighted reaction of my 2 1/2 year old grandson (who was visiting us when we assembled the one for our 1 1/2 year old little girl) is any indication of how much she will enjoy it-- it will be a huge hit! In fact, I wish I had ordered one for him for Christmas. It was well packaged and very easy to assemble. The size is perfect and the grocery cart is quite sturdy.
I bought it for my granddaughter to play with when she visits. She really likes it. The box says 3 yrs old and she's only 2 but has not problem with it at all.

Unlike many of the reviews I read for other items, this item is all that people said it was and more. It is durable, good construction, and is very easy to put together. Although I bought it to go with my grandson's grocery store setup and he absolutely loves it, it would be great for a little girl as well become can put her baby doll in the cart. I do not recommend this one for a toddler even though it's small enough for one. The metal parts may be too harsh for someone as young as 2. My grandson is 5 and handles it very well.
Very cute and realistic. Easy to put together. We have this in the trunk of my suv and bring it to the grocery store so my 3 year old can shop. He loves it.
My daughter uses it with her grocery store mart and absolutely loves it. It is extremely sturdy and she utilizes the front seat for her doll babies emulating mommy and daughter trips to the store. We were able to put it together quickly. It made a great prop for a photo prop as I turned around and found her in it lol. She really enjoys it and it just bring her store mart to life!
Our grand daughter loves her shopping cart! Plays with it for hours at a time.
While my son loves this cart, it is completely uneven. One wheel is always significantly lifted, either the front right or the back left depending on where you have pressure applied. It makes it difficult for him to push straight, so if we take it with us to the store he is constantly running into stuff in the aisles which is cause for concern!
