The only thing I can fault is the fact that you need a magnifying glass to read the instructions. The unit is small but quite powerful. Most of the operations are simple and straight forward. What really surprised me was the random play capability. You usually have to go to a much larger and more expensive model for this feature. Overall, Great!

Over the years we have had several of these. My daughter is SN and loves her CDs. They survive the fall from the chair very well, this is a daily occurrence. Dropped, etc. you get the picture. She smacks the cover to open/close the CD compartment. With all of the above, they still usually last 6 months before the CD compartment totally breaks. On W/E, it is played continuously (10+ hours) a day. One time, it only lasted a weekend, the CDs quit spinning. I returned it for another one with no difficulty. We tried other more expensive brands, etc. before finding this one!!!

I bought this for my daughter & has worked wonderfully for 2 years now. The antenna did break off, but we only use it to play CD's anyways. Never had any problems with CD function as other reviews have stated. Purchased another CD Boombox from Walmart for 40$ (girlie with flowers) and doesn't play CD's after just a couple weeks. Considering price tag on this item, it was well worth it & will replace more expensive radio with another just like this :)

Sound is pretty good as it has Bass boost button. I found the function knob to be small and flimsy. It's digital tuning but does not have a search feature.. you have to rotate a knob looking for a channel. For that reason I'm returning it. CD player works well but needs to be programmed to repeat or it just stops.

Don't Buy It . . . Stopped working after a year.

I bought this to replace a 14 year old CD player that someone stole out of my garage (that still worked perfectly by the way). Worked great, then stopped playing CDs after 1 year. Unfortunately, they do not make things like they used to. I played the CD player for about an hour everyday, so it only had a life span of about 365 hours. I should have known when the owners manual said that it only came with a 90 day warranty.

I bought this radio for work. I got absolutely NO FM stations. The antenna is only about 6" long and seems to be worthless. I have an exterior office with a window, and even when placing the radio against the glass, I had NO reception. I returned the unit.

i grabbed this for work because i needed something cheep, and i really didnt want a Coby or cheep brand...looks good and nice design.. so i figured $30 how bad could it be..i wasent expecting a top of the line sound, if so i would of spent $100+.. but ..... i could not get one station with a clear reception being outside allday, was extremely dissapointed going back to return this today... or im going to reach out to Memorex!!!

This product reads the SLIGHTEST scratch on any cd (and we take good care of our cds). It is not worth saving extra money for. We returned ours the next day. This is the only product that I have purchased that I would under no circumstance recommend to any one else.

This boombox started having problems after having it for 3 months. The CD player would not read my cd's and it gets terrible reception. After 6 months the player stopped playing cd's all together. It is not worth the box that it came in. Please stay away from this one and spend a little bit more on something that will last.

I bought this to play cds at bedtime for my toddler. It worked for 4 weeks. One cd a night for 4 weeks. It stopped spinning the cds and won't work at all. I am very disappointed as this was the only choice they had available in the store when I went to get one. Packaging or no packaging.....I have the receipt and walmart is going to give me my money back.
