I have ordered boxer briefs from Hanes before, so when it was time to purchase more Hanes was the first place I went. While I like the product, I did have a question about it and sent an email to Hanes through their website. This was about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I still have not had a response.
For better comfort I wear them inside out. The only thing wrong with this version is the stitching leaves a bit of the elastic exposed and it irritates.
My husband has worn Hanes Boxer Briefs for many years. As some of his are getting pretty worn, I ordered him some new ones. These are terrible! As soon as I opened the package, I could tell the fabric was not the same. They are very thin, and the material isn't soft. I washed them with fabric softener before giving them to him to try, but it didn't help. His comment was that the waistband was very irritating, because the stitching was was stiff and scratchy. Very disappointing.
Very disappointed Sizing runs small. Very small. I own 4 different brands all size large Your are too small bad bad bad Poor quality Waistband not wide enough. I wish I had never purchase
Back around 2010 I bought some ComfortSoft Boxer Briefs. They were great! They were soft and comfortable. The top and bottom seams stayed put. Eventually I replaced all the other briefs I had with these excellent ones from Hanes. Over the years they wore out and I tried to replace them. The current products are very disappointing. They seem chintzy, the material is thin, and the folded-over seams at top and bottom are narrower. The worst part is the stitching around the waistband—which was so soft and comfortable in the old version—is stiff and scratchy. In warm weather it digs into your skin. I would happily pay 2x or 3x to buy the old high quality version of this product.
These are the worst quality boxer briefs. The stitching comes right apart after 1 or 2 times of use. The waste band is anything but comfortable. With the poor quality, the elastic edge digs into you side. Don't waste your money!
Very uncomfortable after washing. Elastic band is sewn in just below the fabric and rubs against my mid section making them unbearable to wear. If I'd known how awful they were before washing, I would have returned them.
The waist band didn't fit currently (fitted to tight) and the rest of the briefs were just too big. Waste of money, don't recommend buying! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My wife bought me some of these because the store did not have the previous kind in stock. The waste band is hard and uncomfortable and cuts into my waste whereas the previous kind (ComfortFlex) were comfortable and flexible. The term "ComfortSoft" does not apply here. I would not buy these again.
My previous reviews were removed and probably ignored. Maybe you will respond to photos of the missing material in the boxer leg. The first photo shows a new navy pair laid over an older (never worn) grey pair. I carefully aligned their leg openings new navy over older grey. Notice a little grey shown on the left with over an inch of grey on the right. This amounts over 2" of missing material. The waists and inseam are the same. The second and third photos are of the tagless size data. Each marked "XL"
