The cradle is sturdy and so easy to put together. At 8 months pregnant, I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. There were a couple of things that I didn't like, but they are pretty small things. First, the screws show on the bottom and it makes it look pretty cheap. Second, if you tighten any of the screws too much, you can easily crack the paint/wood - not enough to break it or even see it unless you know it's there. But I know. Overall, for the price, the cradle is well worth it. I mean, it's only going to be used for a few months anyway so I guess the aesthetics aren't extremely important, just preferences.
I bought this for my son and daughter in law, its so much like the one I used and I really like it; however, the pin needs to be attatched and the bottom is just so thin. My son is going to reinforce it.
