The beds were a gift to my godsons and they love them. It's thier first bigboy beds and they will be in them for awhile and the beds appear to be sturdy enough to endure until they graduate to full size beds. The price was right and assembly was easy.
My two year old boy LOVES his new little bed! My husband didn't have too much trouble putting it together either!
This is a super cute bed for little boys and it matches perfectly with his sport themed room but it was VERY difficult to put together and some of the holes didnt line up to screw. I had to flip parts around in order to fit. Bascially I had to use my head instead of the instructions
Item was pretty simple to put together. The only issue is that one of the side rails doesn't seem to snap in very well. I ordered this along with the mattress and sheets. Did site-to-store and ended up getting all three at three seperate times. Which ment 3 trips to the store just for pick-up.
a great starter toddler bed....a little disappointed the headboard and footboard decals were not on...wish they were more permanant than peel on stickers...made out of durable plastic with steel piping...grandchildren christmas
It was a VERY stubborn piece of furniture to build and very frustrating. Some of the holes didn't lie up and made some of the screws go crooked..I had to take my hammer to it to get them to go right. Took about an hour, hour and a half to assemble with me AND my friend working on different parts. However...my son ABSOLUTELY LOVES his new bed and that just makes the frustration and time worth it. When it is put together, it is a good bed to use as a starter.
I knew this was an inexpensive item but I thought the quality might have been a little better. It is cheaply made and this was evident while assemblying the two beds I bought for my grandsons. Some of the screws wouldn't thread for love nor money! Maybe we just got a bad "batch", but I wouldn't buy them again. Spend a little extra money and get a better set. It's like the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Lesson learned here.
not all the holes lined up, the black caps that go on the bottom of the legs at the foot board were on the wrong end of the legs. took me a while to figure it out. and some of the screws didn't screw into their holes. shotty craftsmanship but finally got it together after 2hrs. it's sturdy enough in the end and my son loves it so i suppose the sweat and frustration was worth it.
Let me just say that once my husband and I managed to put this bed together it looks very nice BUT like another reviewer said the holes didnt line up properly on the bed. Also it is so hard to attach the headboard and footboard to the frame. I peeled some of the paint off just trying to do that. I bought 3 toddler beds... this one, the elmo one and another crayola one and it was almost a breeze but this one was just ridiculous. My 3 year old loves it though and that is all that matters. If you have the patience then go ahead and get the bed otherwise I say HECK no!
Well first off when we opened the box, the stickers were bent. They sent us two of the same parts, and not enough screws to put the thing together. Alot of the screw holes/holes on parts didnt match up so screwing it on was hard. Had to make new holes so it would work. Right now I have a few heavy objects resting on it since after i built it, it came out bowed. Terrible product, and the only reason I didnt send it back was because i didnt feel like paying for it to get shipped back to crayola or wherever. You really do get your money's worth. Never buying a piece of furniture from crayola again, stick to crayons!!
