This gun safe is a great product and well worth the cost. It has fire and water safety for not only guns and ammo, but personal paperwork.
Unit has a combination lock, not electronic. Make sure to read the entire description then check model number on Stack-on's website to ensure you get what you want. Personally, I wanted the combination lock. The safe was a better value, and delivery charge (curbside) was very reasonable. Delivery occured quicker than the estimated delivery date as well. Overall, the purchase was a very positive experience.
Very sturdy, well made safe. Plenty of room on the inside and the gun rests keep things seperated nicely. It is a traditional combo lock, not the electronic but this is what I was looking for. Don't think you will move this thing with just a dolly or appliance mover. You'll need at least 3 strong people and a heavyweight dolly of some sort. Very very heavy but that's what we all want in a safe. Highly recommend.... enjoy!
I purchased this safe in June 2010 and have been extremely pleased. For the money these Stack-On safes are hard to beat. It looks good and is well made. The only thing I wish I had done different is to buy a larger safe.
This is a very heavy and secure-feeling safe. Mine was damaged in transit which caused the tumblers in the lock to not work. After a call to stack on a locksmith showed up a couple days later and made everything work right. I'm pretty satisfied with this product. Although the guys who delivered it were nowhere near strong enough to handle this thing. Its very large and heavy. Good value.
