My daughter got this throw as a gift and everyone loved it, even the dog. It is very soft but it does shed so throw in dryer to remove lint. We ordered a second one as a gift the blue. Online it looked like navy blue but it is a dark teal color.
I purchased this to donate to a shelter where the dogs have no beds and sleep on cold hard concrete. This blanket is so appreciated by them for they no longer shiver and this gives them comfort.
This is honestly the softest blanket I have ever owned. Even after going through the washing machine a few times it is just as soft as when I bought it. It's so soft my cats think it's fur and try to lick it! The chocolate brown color goes great with my decor. I gave a red one to my grandma for Christmas and she loves it, the color was great too. No one would believe that they are so inexpensive! I am thinking of buying more!!!
I felt this blanket in the store and was in love with how soft it was! I went online (where it was cheaper) and ordered it right away. This is a great blanket for wrapping around you on a chilly evening, throwing over your lap on the couch, or even tossing on top of your bed for a little extra warmth. As other reviewers have mentioned, this blanket does shed quite a bit at first. Some recommended throwing it in the dryer, but I never did, and the shedding more or less stopped after a few weeks. I wasn't really bothered by it, but if you've got furniture that it would show up on, throwing it in the dryer might be best. Now, I will give a warning here... I think when they took the pictures for this page, it wasn't very well lit. The "blue" on this page looks like a navy or rich dark blue... not the case. It's actually a teal! Couldn't look more different than how it looks on this page (although apparently on some monitors it does look teal... I think mostly flat screen monitors are where it looks true). The teal is a beautiful shade, but if you're looking for a neutral, go for the brown! Overall, this is a great, SUPER soft, warm throw blanket for an excellent price, and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a new throw.
We have 3 Boston Terriers. I purchased one of these throws at my local store, was using it myself when one of my girl Bostons jumped up, nuzzeled up, later dragged to the couch with it. I didn't need any more signs that the throw was her choice, so I added it to her bed. Her brother kept getting in her bed, so I went back to the store to get another one. The mother Boston kept getting into his bed, but the store was out. I was frantic then, until I realized maybe online..You saved the day! I still don't have one of my own. :)
When I ordered this it said pearl.... I was really thinking it would be white and the pic was wrong. Uhhh no it should say purple pearl!! I love this throw though.... would buy more!
I didn't give this throw a lower rating because I didn't look at the measurements and assumed that it would be a true throw blanket size. Purchased for my pups to cuddle up on when they sit on my lap or on the sofa. Oddly, one throw is more of a fuzz factory than the other.
This throw is super soft and is really nice to wrap yourself up in. This throw does shed some but, the throw is so soft I can look past that. I ordered the pearl and its a really pretty purple color (love it) and I will probaly have to order another one for a gift for a family member because, they really liked my blanket so much. I love the high-pile material because its so soft and fuzzy and keeps you warm. I ordered this throw because, I wanted a throw to have to cuddle up in while I am watching movies and this is perfect.
It looks and feels good, and the price is excellent. It does have one set back, it leaves a lot of mess everywhere. its like a shedding cat or dog. our carpet and clothes got hit big time.
the moment u open the package,this sucker starts shedding fibers everywhere! it feels like its just falling apart piece by piece, and that if u washed it, there wouldnt be anything left to it! glad i got it on sale 4 $5 bux, but i am still returning it to the store
