My daughter loves her seat! Not only is it an all in one but it fits perfect for my vehicle. We live in Las Vegas and the padding doesn't get very hot!
After weeks of looking for a car seat I stumbled about this one. We have a Graco forever in our other vehicle and I would trade it for this one in a heart beat. Comfy, easy to use/install, and great features.
We have purchased 3 of these seats. 1 for each vehicle and recently one to replace ours that was in an accident. My son is 2.5 and was driving with my mom when they were t-boned on his side of the car. My mom ended up with bad whiplash and brushing and my son didn't end up with even a scratch!! The car seat kept him safe. He medics and firefighters praised the good installation and safety of the seat itself. It's super easy to install from vehicle to vehicle. We wouldnt consider any other brand after being through this ordeal because the safety of my children is the most important thing and we feel safe every time they're buckled in!!
We absolutely love our Symphony All-In-One Platinum car seat! I spent hours researching car seat safety reviews and even more time in stores looking at those car seats in person. We ended up choosing the Symphony and a Britax seat but now I wish I had purchased two Symphonys instead. The Britax traps so much heat and causes my son to sweat terribly even on cooler days whereas the Symphony Platinum stays cool to the touch even on 100+ degree days sitting in the car with all the windows up and in direct sunlight in Virginia. The padding is comfortable and fairly easy to remove when it needs to be washed. Pros: - Seat stays cool even on the hottest days - Easy to Install with Sure Latch system (takes less than 2 minutes) - No re-thread harness adjustment -Higher height/weight limits for long term use Cons (Moreso room for improvement): - Infant padding (upper) slides around, wish it could be secured - The arrow on the base that has to be level with the ground when installed is difficult to see. This could be colored or made to a bubble level to help ensure a proper installation. - If there was a way to include an adjustable base (the way some infant carrier bases adjust to obtain a level fit in a vehicle) that would be amazing vice using a rolled towel or pool noodle. -The harness release trigger could be coated with rubber, because even though it is under the flap of fabric it does get hot. - Buckle storage slots (great concept), but the buckle seems to fall out quite easily so we don't even bother using them. Although if the buckle does stay it does help to keep the metal tips cooler. We really do love this seat and the fact that we can use it for years to come is a huge plus! I will be purchasing a Symphony again for my husband's truck and for Grandma's car too!
This is one of the best car seats I've ever purchased!! I know that my child is secure and safe in this one. It is also very roomy and comfortable for them, and grows with them. I love how you can recline it back so they can rest a lot easier and better. Also the headrest part adjusts to keep their head safe and comfortable as well. It has little slots on the side to hold the strap pieces making it easier to get them in and out. The only downfall I didn't really like was the cup holders, unfortunately the cups will not sit well in them and kept falling out. Also I want to mention it is a little heavy to lift, personally I don't mind it but I know some may. But other than that I absolutely love this car seat and the fact that it keeps my child not only safe but comfortable and happy as well. This is my favorite brand of car seats and we have owned quite a few! I most definitely recommend!!
I have 6 of these carseats for my infant twins, 2 for my car, 2 for my husband's car, and 2 for my in-laws car. These carseats are responsible for my babies being alive. We were in a pretty bad rollover and they didn't even have a scratch on them, they didn't even cry hanging upside in their carseats. I absolutely 100% believe the seats saved their life and I love this company for it.
We have Platinum Symphony DLX car seat for over a year now and I m ready to share my experience. We really love this car seat!!!! I think it's one of the best quality car seats for very reasonable price. The quality of material from plastic to metal to textiles is great. The car seat is a little bit bigger than other brand car seats, but it's gives a little more protection to your little one. The textile of the car seat is easy to wash, and it's been in a washer and dryer with no problem and still like new. Its fit car seat very snug and never gonna go out of place. I love that cup holders has a rubber band-like material, so it's easy to put any size bottles. And over a year now and this rubber band like new. It's take a minute to install a car seat, so if you need to switch cars a lot this car seat is definitely what you want. Overall My daughter feels comfortable in this chair and she can take very long rides with no problem. We love this car seat so we purchased another evenflo car seat for our second car.
Well-padded, super comfy seat. Very easy to install! I love that I can remove the cover to wash it, without removing the straps, or even unlatching the seat! The disappointment comes from having to remove the cupholders in the process. The cupholders now pop off easily. My daughter gets bored when we're driving, and is able to pop out the cupholders and pull the styrene foam out! She has munched the foam and broken it into little pieces! The last time I washed the cover, the seam on the seat came apart! I feel like the whole thing is falling apart, and am disappointed after choosing a more expensive seat for her.
I loved this car seat till my 2 year old realized he could lower the straps. This is my 3rd child so I'm well aware of proper seat buckles and I take it seriously. I almost had a major accident with him falling out the car. The car wash people hit my child lock button on my door and my child took his straps off and opened the door. Luckily he was not strong enough to open it completely. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I wanted to love this seat. My husband paid good money for it, and I'm here to warn other parents of the hot mess that is the EvenFlo Platinum symphony LX. Cons: •Impossible to install properly in a 2017 Kia Sedona. •The base of the carseat sits too far off the seat of the vehicle. •LATCH strap on bottom is too short to be used in a captains chair (middle row of van) •No installation videos, just a video call to help you install. Holding the phone or tablet for a video call while also wrestling a car seat sounds like the opposite of a convienent solution. Put up a video, WITHOUT ADS, on YouTube for each specific model, would you? •seat is incredibly light. No metal Reinforcement which means your child's safety is left to the plastic bits and foam. •elastic on cup holders isn't easily replaced. It's gonna wear out. And get dirty. Gross. Pros •nice color. Ultimately I'm returning this seat because it's garbage.
