I think this paper towel is one of the BEST I've ever used! I'm so excited to have a product that can be used more than once! Usually I go through papertowels so quickly at my house, between spills, messes, cleaning etc. Well not with these! I have had the same roll of paper towels for over a week now. I was so very excited to get in on this Bzzagent (product was free) campaign that I cheered when I received the email! I had seen these paper towels in stores (recently put out) and had an immediate hankering to purchase them. What a great idea to integrate my absolute favorite brand of soap (DAWN) with one of my favorite brands of paper towel. I love that they are dry. (I stopped using the wet ones years ago because they always seems to dry out and that is both irritating and wasteful.) Simply wet the paper towel and clean! There is an ample amount of Dawn interwoven into the towel. You can clean a dirty, crumb ridden (I have children!) counter and rinse the leavins' (Married with Children joke.) off and there is still enough Dawn to wet and reuse. The paper towel is strong; I have used an entire roll and have never had one break, even when reusing it several times throughout the day. Once you're done, clean up is as easy as tossing it in the trash! I absolutely adore this innovative, life simplifying paper towel... Yes, I will definitely be purchasing this again! I was sitting here thinking of a way to use the Bounty with Dawn towels that would be a good way to decide if they are worth it. I had a stain of some sort by my front door and thought that would be a good opportunity. Once I wet the towel, I scrubbed the area a bit. It took no time for the stain to disappear. The paper towel was sturdy enough that it didn't just fall apart as soon as I started scrubbing. I did use a regular paper towel to dry the spot as much a possible, though, since it was carpet and not a hard surface. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received these new Bounty w/ Dawn paper towels for free and loved them instantly! They are a nice thick paper towel and you could see the dawn bue in them and the thick scrubbing pockets! I used them within minutes and loved the convenience of just wetting, ringing out and rinsing the surface! No harsh chemicals, no clogged spray bottles...all around amazing! I have used this paper towel more than once. I just wipe and rinse and use again. True as it is advertised.
At first I was really excited about this product. I use bounty and Dawn. I think it's idea is fabulous, but the actual product could use a little more time. It definitely does get soapy (maybe a little too soapy), and it's thick, but it was hard to get a paper towel off the roll. I did clean my counters with these as well as several other types of surfaces and it did its main purpose. At the end of the day, I need a second paper towel holder to hold both my regular rolls and these. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was really excited to try this product. I use both products separately so having to just buy one was Genius! I got rid of the yucky sponges in my kitchen and just use this to wash the dishes. I think that these are quite amazing. I used them on a lot of different surfaces, and they do clean up real well and don't tear very easily. I used them on the fridge, counters, entertainment center, door handles, walls, and bathroom sink. The only thing that was a little bit of a bother was when I was scrubbing, they got really soapy (I may have added too much water) but other than that they worked great. I would recommend these to family and friends for quick cleaning up, and for tougher cleaning (just get them wet and let them sit on the area for a few minutes). I like Bounty and decided to try the new Bounty with Dawn. Big mistake. They simply will not work for my family. First off they have a strong scent that we do not care for. Second, this smell and the fact that there is Dawn in the paper means we can not use these paper towels with food (one of our big uses for paper towels). We can not wrap food to put in the micro or wrap food to put in the frigd or use as a mock plate with a sandwich or snack. Third we can not use these towels to dry hands because the towels leave your hands with a film and smell. Fourth, and finally, they are insanely expensive. All that said, the towels are strong and absorbent. If we only used paper towels for cleaning that would be fine but we do not. So, we will go back to using the regular Bounty products sans Dawn.
