I originally purchased this blanket as an extra to store with an air mattress, but once I saw it, I decided I wanted to try it out first. My husband is a blanket snob, and usually throws them off anyway, but I showed him the blanket and asked if we could try it out. He said sure! Well, we liked the way it looked, and we had both had extremely tiring days at work (no kids at home). So we climbed into the bed, and we both immediately dropped off to sleep. The next morning, I saw that he still had the blanket on! It's a nice weight: heavy enough to know it's on top of our sheet, but not enough to feel weighted down. It has stayed on our bed, and I'm considering buying another one just like it for the original purpose. We choose the green sage, which is nice, but is a little lighter color than most description using these words. With the right light, it can almost look like a lime color.
This blanket is so beautiful! I already have 3 white ones in kings size for my own bed which I absolutely LOVE!! They are cool enough in the summer & warm enough at winter. I just bought one for my guest room. They are light weight & super easy to just throw in the washer & dryer. You will not go wrong with this purchase.
My husband has a health condition that causes him to have a very hard time keeping warm. We have a heated mattress pad that he keeps on all night, but he was still freezing, until I got this blanket. It is very warm and also lightweight. Very comfortable.
These are light and sooooo soft, just the greatest blanket for warmer months. I use it as a cover right next to my body and just love the way it feels. I have two of them and have ordered another. Finally found this white that I've been looking for. No other lightweight comforter/blanket can compare with this. I know because I've tried to find one.
Okay, first impression. The `blanket` looks nothing like the blankets of old. It's too thin for a start and has a `silk` feel to it, rather than the wool material we always have used. My second impression was with the first morning I woke up with it on the bed. The temperature outside was in the single digits, so I leave the electric under blanket on low. Sometime in the night I'd switched it off (never happened before) because I was too warm. This queen sized `down alternative blanket` is wide enough and long enough to overhang by at least a foot on all sides. It is very lightweight. So my first impression was misguided with old tradition thinking. So my thoughts as I lay snug and and warm were `I've got to buy another one for the spare room`Another good point to make is the ease of cleaning it. I put it on the `quick wash setting using cold water and in the dryer set it for `delicate`Perfect.
I could not find this blanket in any of several stores I visited so I decided to buy it sight unseen on the website. I was very pleased with the entire process - Walmart notified me of the shipping date and then notified me of the delivery date. We LOVE this blanket. The weight is perfect, the size is more than ample, the quality is very good and the price was great. I have not washed it yet, but I expect it to be fine. I would definitely recommend this product.
I was thrilled to see the quality of the microfiber blankets. I ordered two of these for a room that stays cool at our cabin and they hit the mark. I ordered the queen size and they run true to size if not a little big, which is good in this case. Great quality for sure! I even considered using this as the top comforter versus a new one I just bought. The green color is just as it appears online. Thank you for an affordable option Wal-mart!
We recently moved to florida from the north, I found that I only had heavy fabric blankets for our beds and they just weren't working. I ordered one of the Microfiber Down-Alternative Blankets for our bed to try, They were wonderful,Lightweight,and soft. I ordered three more for my other beds. These blankets I could not find in the stores so I am so happy that they were available on line. I would highly recommend them.
Couldn't be happier! Perfectly lightweight (approx. 1/2" thick), generous in size, soft, silky, warm but not heavy, has the quality I've been looking for and lastly, the price is fantastic! Not at all cheap in any way. I removed the blanket from it's bag, put it in the dryer for 10 mins. with a fabric sheet to get some wrinkles out from it's packaging and took the pics for you. I'd purchase again. A must have!
I got the willow color and love the styling look. However, it's also far more lightweight and thin than I'd expected. It also doesn't provide much warmth at all. The fabric also snags very easily with long pulls resulting. If its look your going for.. this hits the mark and is beautifully oversized. It is quite beautiful and the color absolutely stunning. I have it folded laying across the end of my bed. For that use, its a great visual addition. If warmth is what you need.. I wouldn't suggest this at all. The one night I used it on my bed as a blanket in addition to my quilt I had to get up during the night to add another. And it's just chilly at night now, not cold by any means.
