the game is very great and easy to learn how to play, the campaign is i geuss short (can beat in 1-2 days) but has great replay value and the online is extremely fun. there is no bugs at all that i have found and there are a few glitches but not a lot of people use them anymore and epic has been getting updates out there that has fixed the game up to be the BEST XBOX 360 OUT SO FAR
I know what you're thinking.. you're asking yourself.. is the Gears of War Collector's Edition worth the extra $10? My answer is simply YES. Only because 1) I am a sucker for limited/collectors/rare CDs/DVDs/Video Games, 2) I am a huge Gears of War fan, and 3) It was actually the first game I ever bought for the XBOX 360. Ever since I seen the special show about the game on MTV during Video Games week before E-Day last year, I've been trying to hype up and campaign for Gears of War with all of my friends and co-workers. Although I've never even played the game nor did I have a 360, I already knew that Gears of War was the one to get and I was tryin to convince everyone the same thing. Well fast forward to July of this year; I finally got to play Gears of War at a friend's house and I immediately fell in love with it. It was just as I expected, but better.. I haven't that much fun playing a video game since HALO2. Everything was brilliant: from the gameplay to the storyline. The graphics and sound were incredible and finally the co-op and multiplayer/XBOX live features just convinced me more. I recently purchased an 360 Elite after the pricecut and I told myself that if I was gonna buy the game that I've been constantly hyping up since it's release, I was gonna make sure I got the Collector's Edition. And even though I've seen it for cheaper USED at GameStop.. I wanted to buy a new copy for my own personal collection. Hence the review.. This game was the initial reason why I wanted to purchase an XBOX 360, and HALO3's release was just the little icing of motivation on top of the cake. Therefore, this game has sentimental value to me so I had to commemorate it by getting the best possible edition available for the 360. I'm even tempted to purchase the PC version later this year, just cause I'm that big of a Gears fan. Though I already beat the game on Casual, Hardcore, and Insane via CO-OP at my friend's house over the summer way before even buying the game or owning a 360, I still bought the Limited Edition Strategy Guide cause I'm that crazy over the franchise. I have also purchased Bioshock and skate., but have yet to even open those games because I'm stuck on Gears of War Deathmatches on XBOX LIVE. The game is just that good. Yet, I have a feeling that after purchasing HALO3 this fall, that I'll be playing that more, but don't get me wrong.. I'll still be on XBOX Live trying to chainsaw the Locust with the Lancer.
it is the best game evere had a good campain the reson the other guy said it was easy is he was probly playing it on easy!!!!!
this game is one of the best if not the best xbox 360 games and it gunna come to the PC. the graphics for this game are amazing! it's a must have for anybody that owns a xbox 360

The campaign was short and easy. Online play is over all buggy and full of cheaters. Only nice thing is the graphics, which aren't all that great to begin with.
