Very easy to use and works as well as you can expect from a transmitter (as opposed to using a straight-in AUX jack, which many older car radios don't have). I got this as part of Wal-mart's combined Zune package (Zune + Home A/V + car pack) and you just can't beat it. Everything works beautifully, and there's even an online Facebook community for Zune.
works perfect just gotta find the best frequency to use it on but still its not that hard to find one
Unlike other transmitters that put out a weak signal, this works quite well. I live in a dense metropolitan area the signal comes in clear. Plus the wires are organized so there is no tangles.
This was a great package. When you tune the Zune player, the music plays a little low. You have to turn the Zune volume up to 17 to hear the music in the speakers. ONLY drawback.
I was impressed after plugging it into my cig liter in an early 90's vehicle & my Zune says "Please wait while the software is updated"! It searched for a channel automatically. I live in the middle of nowhere & the sound is still terrific! The only thing I am not real fond of are the cords/wires. They get in the way of ignition/e-brake/floor shift & are not very long. I am able to take the tuner off and set it next to me (gets cords out of my way) I preferred a wireless FM Transmitter but was unable to fine one so i went with this. If your ok with "wires" & having every song you've ever loved at your fingertips while driving? Good purchase :)
This is a great product to have if you own a Zune! We have 3 of the zunes and one is ALWAYS being used! We loved having this adaptor on vacation...one it charges your zune while listening to it in the car plus when you can't find a local station we just had to plug this in and listen to "our" music!
when your in town driving it works very well, but when your traveling threw mountains or small towns with no radio stations its hard to find a frequency to keep it going. so if you do a lot of traveling, it would be worth your sanity just to install a new radio with a axillary jack in it.
Only tried it once so far, got a lot of static and have not yet found a station to provide clear, static-free sound. But really haven't had a chance to work with it enough.
was very dessapointed having had such great luck with Zune and the AV pack, when it came to hook-up the Zune to the car stereo, the car pack was of very poor sound, I used my old Vr3 that i had purchased 3 years ago and the quality was 200% better than the Zune car pack
On most fm channel matces the radio receicer overpowers the mp3 players output as tho it's not even playing. When I can get a channel match that it will work on, there has to be significant distanse between player and adapter or buzzing/interference bleeds thru and as I drive, a station may begin to overpower the adapters transmission and drown out what the player is playing. I also am using a brand new zune mp3 player too. I bought your bundled package online for $99. I m very disappointed thus far with both. It is very difficult to set up and use, and I was a systems analyst in the navy for 11 yrs!Had I to do it over...I wouldn't buy it. I am very seriously considering sending the whole thing back!
