I was going to buy this at Best Buy because they had it in stock, but I was able to get it a lot cheaper from walmart.com and it is the same exact thing, I just had to wait a few more days for it to ship. Love it and definitely worth the money! I had a universal one, but they wouldn't charge the Zune and that would be annoying, especially on long car rides.
I am very pleased with my new zune and car pack. I like having the option of listening to the fm radio or my downloaded music. The car pack is a nice alternative to cds, although I thought the downloads would be louder than they are.
I LOVE THIS ZUNE CAR PACK. I HAD THE OTHER FM TRANSMITTER WHICH NEVER SEEMS TO WORK THE WAY I THOUGHT IT SHOULD. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS CAR PACK, I WOULD HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT LONG, LONG TIME AGO. MY HUSBAND RODE IN MY TRUCK AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS CAR PACK. (HE DOESN'T BE IMPRESSED EASILY) GREAT PRODUCT.
I've only used it once as a car charger, but I am anxious to see how it performs as a radio. I like the cord's length especially. Your not trying to figure a way to stretch it far enough to prop it on something. The magnet is handy too. The radio turner sticks to the top of the plug in, which keeps it up and out of the way. I really like it.
I have no problems at all using the Zune car pack in the cold of Alaska. Works great as we have plenty of FM open space.
Ok. I'll start out with: one other reviewer said that it wouldn't play through your car with this, it will too. The square looking thing is a transmitter that sends out the signal too your antenna to play through your radio. And then somebody said that it doesn't work with other mp3 players. Well why would you need anymore than just one?????? The cons are that it is a little pricey. But it does work very well!
The zune car pack is a good fm transmitter. The autoseek function is great especially since i often drive 100 miles plus a day i often need to find new stations. The magnetic clip keeps the wires out of the way the only down side is no dock for the zune like the apple transponder for the iPod overall its a great product though.
I got the car pack free when I bought my zune 2 weeks ago. It works well in my car but in some places it may lose signal and then takes a while to find another station that is good. That's when the preset buttons come in handy.
The initial idea of this device can't be denounced, however, you really have to turn up the volume to get any sound out of it at highway speed. Sure, you can easily transport from car to car, however, the fm transmitter isn't strong enough to produce the sort of levels needed to cancel wind and road noise.
this product didnt work at all there was so much static i could not hear my music i would not recommend this to anyone who owns a zune. for the price you pay it is not worth it.
