There are now many other food mills on the market with interchangeable screens and fancy design but for real production, ease of use, ease of cleaning, and effective milling there just is nothing better than the original Foley Food Mill. For several years they were making it with cheap/thin material but it is now back almost to its original form. If you make applesauce in any quantity, you need this mill.

I had been advised, purchasing this Foley pot would enable me to make fresh tomato sauce/gravy without having all the seeds that come from using fresh tomato's. The Foley is easy to use, wish I had known such a utensil existed, it is quite an exhaustive task to make seedless tomato sauce other wise. This can also be used to make homemade apple sauce and various other fresh vegetable sides to complete your home healthy recipes. I would recommend this to anyone that believes as I do ...that fresh is best.
A kitchen item that cannot be improved.
Works great and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that it's not easy to take apart for cleaning.
My orders are constantly delayed with poor quality items.

Handle is not comfortable to the hand. The "feet" are higher on the bowl than my old food mill; thus, the bottom of the food mill is too close to the bottom of the bowl that is receiving the processed food. Going back to my old food mill and this one is going back to the store.
