I really love the dark colors of the black and purple and the way they made the projects pop. This was our first experience with alcohol inks and resin. It's important to note not to go over the drops like we did, the black took over. However, that was user error. The bottle itself came out exactly like it should, dispersing one drop at a time. It's actually quite amazing because most crafts like to come out too fast. We didn't have white to weigh the inks down but we're very happy with the results! Beautiful colors and fun to work with so I would recommend this to others.
These dyes for resin projects worked beautifully. It took me some researching to realize how neat resin-based projects are! You are limited only by your own imagination! Now I'm hooked! The colors blended perfect. You have to be careful not to get on your hands or any other surfaces because the dyes do not come out easily! The gold was especially beautiful! I would recommend trying them out. A high quality product!
Mod poster has been around for years in the art world, so it's no surprise they know what they're doing. These colors are great, and the bottles will last through several projects. A drop at a time with this stuff is best because a little goes a long way. I also highly recommend wearing gloves when using this, rubbing alcohol takes it all but cleans keep it from going on to begin with.
I am very satisfied with these Mod Podge Alcohol Inks. They work very well with resin to create beautiful colors. I added just few drops of silver and gold inks in about one ounce of resin. And I got such a wonderful metallic color. Love to use it in my projects. Cleans very well with rubbing alcohol. I will definitely buy other colors from Mod Podge. I would recommend this product for others.
These were great for making coasters with and watching the colors come together was awesome. This was my first time working with resin and alcohol ink but I learned alcohol ink will spread. It's best to use this with a white but since we didn't have any we did the best we could. The colors are beautiful! They spread out like they should and add a nice look to the project. It was easy to drop exactly what we needed for each project. The dropper is very good. Overall, we're happy with it and using it for our first time. I would recommend these alcohol inks.
Works great! This was my first time using alcohol ink. We used UV resin. The instructions said only 1-2 drops per ounce, so we only used 2 drops in our unicorn mold. The color turned out just as pictured, and it didn't prevent the resin from curing, even though there may not have been a full ounce of resin in there. It was easy to use, and the bottle made it easy to drop sparingly.
The black is nice and dark not a "smoky" color when it sets. The purple was deep and has a vast dilution for different shades. I like they were both so versatile. Just make sure you read the instructions if you use too much your project might not set properly. The bottles have nice small dropper tips making it easy to measure and a very sturdy secure lid they wont just pop off. The instructions on the back of the package are easy to read for beginners. A great addition to your craft kit.
This is the first time I have used alcohol ink. The colors came out nice, I used the ink to hydro dip some extra deer antlers for decoration. I used other color alcohol ink of the same brand as well. It was my first time doing this and I think I will have better outcomes next time. I used gloves so I had no issues with the ink staining my hands. I will be trying these inks again!
This Mod Podge resin alcohol ink came in lovely Fun Brights , Red & Navy Blue, These two color Was amazing for diluting and mixing into my little paint Since he love to mix and stir ingredients I decided to let him create his own color To paint on a wooden canvas which was a treat for him. Con: it stains so beware and be very careful Also a little goes a loong way.
I recently started watched acrylic pouring online and started to try it out myself, as a hobby. I've seen people use alcohol inks when making coasters and things like that and I wanted to try my hand at that as well. I saw these Mod Podge metallic alcohol inks online at Walmart and thought they'd be a perfect set to try something new with. I have this set of coasters I've been wanting to make my own designs with so I used these inks to make myself some cool custom coasters. Make sure you shake well before you start using these so you get that beautiful, bold metallic, uniform color throughout your masterpiece. These say for use in resin, but I'm not into resin so I wanted to keep it simple for myself and use with what I have. I did small acrylic pours on my coasters and added these metallics in and on top for the different looks. I've included pictures of how they all turned out after sealed. I wanted soothing unique for each coaster so I did something random and different in each one. The beauty of this style of art is that you can't really control it, but I'm always happy with what's created at the end.
