Excellent. No leaks. Fits nice and secure in my boat. If you want a 3 gallon tank, I recommend this one.
Perfect size for 14 ft alum. boat with 15 hp outboard. Fits behind back seat out the way, plenty of fuel for a day of fishing or river running....
It has everything I was looking for as an auxiliary tank for a small outboard.
Very strong, well built. This is compact and perfect for small jon boats, canoes, maybe even a kayak. My favorite part is that all of the attachments (quick disconnect port, empty full guage, fill cap) can unscrew from the tank allowing for proper maintenance and cleaning of the parts or inside of the tank.
Having the fuel gauge is a plus. Perfect fit in my Jon boat
Excellent purchase. The 3 Gallon tank is perfect for smaller boats and allows you to watch the fuel level. The size allows the secured placement of the fuel tank in tight areas and is easy to install and remove with the front handle.
This item is perfect form my use. Easy to carry and has the fuel gauge. Would recommend if your trying to save on space and weight.
This item pictured is not the item that is sent to customers the vent cap is metal in pic wich is what I wanted but the one I recieve is plastic it operates but with much less control over vent
This is an extremely durable little tank. My outboard came with its own tank, and this one is probably at least twice as thick and heavy. It seems like it could take a lot of abuse. The empty/full indicator is a float based one and works great. My one complaint is, the walmart.com listing showed it came with a 1/4 NPT fuel line hose connector (I have attached it to this review), but it does NOT, so you will have to buy it separately.
Gauge worked for first fill up, then stopped working when filled the second time!. Now gauge shows empty all the time whether full or empty. Looked inside and nothing is in the way of the float. I guess the float is leaking or saturated and stays on the bottom of the tank.
