Great product, super cute when the water comes out the frogs mouth. I wish I realized there wasn't a hole in for the shower, but that was my fault.
The Mommy's Helper Froggie Faucet Cover is perfect. My grandson love playing the water as it comes out of the Frogs mouth. It is safe and keeps him from hitting his head on the nozzle. It will be a gift I will give everyone for a Baby Shower Gift.
This works perfect for my bathtub and my son loves the cute frog head. I only wish it wasnt so easy to take off. My 1yo and can pull it off like nothing so it would be nice it you could secure it better. Its a great item for a great price so I cant complain that much.
This is good to prevent toddler from hitting their head on the spout but it is easy for them to pull off if they wanted to. Water also gets stuck in it after every use.
This frog didn't fit over my spout which has a slight downward curvature to it. If your spout is straight it would fit fine. The plastic is a bit stiff and hard, but I think it would still provide protecction. Also, it wouldn't be able to be left on the spout or else you wouldn't be able to pull up the diverter to engage your shower. The frog is cute though, and my son enjoys playing with it.
I thought maybe the reviews saying it was ridiculously hard were being over dramatic and oh my lord they absolutely are not. this thing is as hard as metal kinda defeating the purpose of even buying a tub faucet cover. I tried stretching and bending it plenty figuring it should become more flexible or maybe it just got hard in the shipping process. IT DOESNT GET ANY SOFTER OR STRETCH MORE. after 3 hours of stretching and bending it trying to soften the material and it doesn't do anything. like it's cute as all get out but unless if you want something to make your faucet sturdier and harder DONT BUY. means I spent so much money on this I'm trying to find a bright side instead of realizing I just wasted some of my limited money I get a month. the only positive I've been able to think of is its sturdy and hard enough my son can use it almost as a handle to help him stand up when he's done in the tub.
Initially I loved the frog faucet cover. It was cute and soft enough for me (others I had looked at weren't). I thought the only downside was that it didn't have a hole at the top for those faucets who have the shower pull on the top but that wasn't an issue for us because ours have a nob next to hot and cold water nob for that. It fit on pretty easily and looked good. Unfortunately the problem came when I turned on the water. The way it's made, it ended up just trapping some of the water and instead of coming out from the hole, it sprayed backwards and I could instantly see it was not going to work. Water doesn't flow through it correctly and water would get trapped and then spray backwards. I could just foresee the mildew that would be caused by the water spraying everywhere if I left it on while the tub fills. Now I have to take it off, fill up the tub and put it back on. Not as convenient but still effective for the big picture which is protecting my son from bumping his head and getting injured during the bath.
Doesn't fit my faucet had to make it fit and it collects water in the bottom part of mouth. It was also bigger then what I thought.
It serves the purpose of cushioning the faucet for the child, but is poorly designed for the water to actually flow out of it's mouth. fills in the caverns where the frogs lips are and just sprays out backwards. The plastic is quite firm and you can't reshape it to work any other way.
I was not expecting much after reading reviews, but bought it anyway since it was the cheapest option and we needed something ASAP. I don't see how it would be able to fit on any standard bathtub faucet. The material is pretty stiff, and I thought it was going to force the faucet back into the wall trying to put it on. We ended up cutting it so it would fit.
