Best on the marketplace. Will work in sub zero weather and will last the users lifetime. You can start a mack truck or a compact car. Keep them locked up in your trunk as if someone sees them on the back seat of your pickup, well, they might disappear! Trust these cables.
Great cables, very flexible, easy to store, strong clamps
Never bought a 2 gauge cable....best investment I have ever made on a set of cables. These cables could jump start a tractor trailer truck plus 20 foot cables can reach 2 parking spaces over without moving vehicles.
I haven't actually had a reason to try the new jumper cables but I did inspect them and they appear to be very well made with nice clamps for both top mounted or side mounted batteries. The two gauge cable is very heavy duty and should boost with very little voltage drop.
The wire size is #2 copper, more than enough to jump start any vehicle. The cables are 20 feet long which will reach a car parked ahead or behind your car, in case you can't park side by side. These are much better than the old short pair I had been using. They fit in a tool bag in the center of the inside mounted spare tire.
I feel lucky to find these after an exhaustive search on Amazon. These are heavy duty, good for top or side mount terminals and are priced very, very well. Go Wallmart!
Finally we have jumper cables with the correct size of wire and long enough to reach the long wheel based vehicles that you cannot get beside them. they are a little stiff, but that is because of correct size of wire used. The only drawback is the clamps on the ends are bare metal and will ark. Would have been better with some kind of dip or cover.
Let me give you a little back ground. I was raised in a shop. I was a parts man for 13 yrs. I ran a auto center for 15 yrs. I've use a lot of jumper cables. These are some of the best cables on the market. If you want better cables than these, go to a place that sells welding supplies. You can make them from welding cable and make them as long as you want them to be. The clamps will also be better. Be sure to take your check book. Most of us do not want to spend that kind of money. Nor do we need that kind of booster cables. The motor trend cables are better than most of us will ever need. The wire is way big enough, the clamps are good and at 20ft. the length should be more than you would ever need. You can't go wrong buying these cables.

Everything I was expecting and more. The only thing that would have made them better is if they came with a storage bag. Working in a repair shop these will get used often.
