I liked this vanilla protein. I really appreciate how convenient it is in singleserve packets which makes it very easy for me to bring it to work or on the girl. Breast-feeding makes me so hungry so it's helpful to have convenient, lactation safe proteins to bring with me. I also appreciate that it has biotin and is packed with nutrition. The taste is good, it's not chalky
I thought the taste was delicious - not artificial or overly sweet. It went really nicely with my fruit and spinach smoothies. I just use water for the liquid and it still came out creamy and smooth. Individually packaged servings are super convenient - no messy scooping out of a jar or bag. This does contain biotin which can tend to make me break out when taken regularly, but I am not drinking one of these everyday and so far it's been ok.
Great product. Not bad flavor or texture and mixes in cold liquid. Has biotin and pea protein.
It says you can mix with a cold beverage. At first I tried it with just water but did not like the texture. I then tried it with a smoothie and it was delicious! I really enjoyed it. I will definitely purchase it again while I am breastfeeding!
I love making smoothies, and as someone who has tried 50+ different protein powders…this has been the best tasting and texture of a protein powder I've tried to date! I do love that they are individually packaged for serving size, but I would prefer to buy it in a big container with a scoop instead.
I'm not a huge fan of protein mixes but I needed something after having my baby. The various hormones and stress of just having a baby were very visible in my body. I really enjoyed this drink mix, especially using it with chai tea to make it a vanilla chai latte. (I made chai tea and then added the vanilla mix in, seriously so delicious! Just make sure you stir it often, otherwise, the mix will settle at the bottom.) I haven't taken it long enough to notice a difference in my hair, nails, or skin but it might have upped my supply. It wasn't a huge difference but I did get 1-3 extra ounces on the few pump sessions after taking the mix if I took it consistently. So if I did it just one I didn't notice a difference but after a few days of taking it, I did notice the small change. I really liked that it was made with few ingredients. I received the product for my honest feedback and review, however, this is a product that I will continue to purchase.
I used this product during breastfeeding because my daughter was in a growth spurt and depleting my supply too much. I did not notice that it helped produce extra milk but it was surprisingly filling, even for a fairly small serving size. I tried the powder mixed with almond milk, 2% milk, and water. I prefer it mixed with almond milk and recommend using a blender or a protein shaker cup to blend it smoothly into cold liquid. To spice it up I added banana and chocolate chips and I preferred the texture and flavor this way. Though on its own it's smooth and sweet. Adding other ingredients also makes a single packet go further as 8 oz is a fairly small drink. If needing a protein supplement and found this on sale, I would purchase it, but if using it for lactation support I would try a different product.
I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback. Overall, I found this to be a good recovery drink. It made me feel like I was getting the extra protein I needed after having my baby and also breastfeeding. I didn't notice any difference in milk supply, but my supply was consistent so no complaints with that. I would recommend adding this mix to a smoothie or something more complex in flavors than water or milk. I think it would make it more enjoyable to drink or hide the flavor if you are not a fan. I found the vanilla flavor to be ok, but I am not a huge fan of protein drinks in general. I would recommend it for those looking to supplement their nutritional intake so that they can feel more confident with their health and the health of the baby.
never again. can't get past the texture and taste, very grainy and takes like a chalky powder, tried with cold water, and with hot cocoa. doesn't mix well it any drink. awful.
I did not like this at all. the taste was not good, it was very grainy. it said to mix with 8oz milk for a better taste, i mixed it with way more then that to thin it out and still got the grainy bad flavor
