I ordered this product without my husband knowing. His had broken and he had an electric one and fussed everytime he used it. I didn't tell him about it until it came by Fed-Ex...After putting it together and getting it started he loved it,,,it is heavier than his old one but so much more powerful. So I did good. :-)
I haven't owned it very long yet, but this little gas powered blower works great!! It's easy starting and with plenty of power give my yard that finished look to it after mowing.
Completely satisfied. I bought it rather than pay for maintenance on my Echo PB210. The two items are very equivalent. The Murray is a little more tempermental to start; floods easier; but also clears easily if you follow the instructions; and it does start. Air volume is good. The constrictor nozzle is unnecessary, and blows better without it. I am very pleased with the performance. I paid $12 for a 2-year replacement contract so as to garuantee performance, but I could immediately see that my fears were unfounded.
Great, I love it.
This is well worth buying. It has a lot of blowing power and the motor just hums right along. I made a shoulder strap that attaches to the two holes in the handle that makes it easier for me to handle the blower over an extended time. Did a great job of blowing the dry thatch off of my lawn. I removed the air flow tip that goes on the front and it blows much better in my opinion.
Very powerful excactly what I expected!!
I used this as a replacement to my old stihl blower and it being new performs almost as good, only time will tell, but for now I am ok with it.
This blower will do the job intended. For the price, features, etc I consider it a great buy. It is not the most powerful on the market, but was not intended to be. A very good homeowner blower that will do the job!
I bought this to replace a similar Hitachi blower that I had been using for 3 season without a single problem until it suddenly and unexpectedly died and a Hitachi service center was no where within reach. This new Murray has an nice feel and balance to it and the the velocity and volume of air is pretty good for the price. The carburetor is really touchy though. I find it tricky to start cold, fairly easy to start if you get it up to operating temp and shut it off for only a minute or two. But any longer than a few minutes it is almost impossible to get going again. Mine does not flood when hot. You just can't get the air to fuel mixture right with the primer, throttle and choke. It won't idle at all unless I move the choke to half, and that's even after adjusting the idle speed screw. If the carb on this unit were tweaked better to allow for easier starts under all temperature conditions I would give it 5 stars because once it's running, it's great.
Had trouble starting from the very start. Returned the item the very next day.
