It's made of wood and very easy to put together with a screw driver. The price was great! My 6 year old daughter enjoys playing with it, with her American girl doll. We also got her the hair styling kit for her doll. A great accessory to go along with the vanity. A great value for your price.

This a cute, sturdy piece of doll furniture which I got on sale and so it was extremely affordable. It was easy to put together with only a screw driver in under 10 minutes and my daughter loves it. However the exposed (although thankfully recessed) screw heads are not at all attractive and including some kind of cover for them would have gotten 5 stars for this item from me.
