For anyone wondering what this doll is supposed to be, when we received this doll, the box indicated that this was a My Life As... Ordinary Girl. I don't know exactly what OPP means, but that is something we learned when we received it that we didn't know when we ordered it. My daughter has another My Life Doll that is the caucasian brown haired ballerina and it had a soft torso and hard to move legs (at first), but this doll is all plastic (no soft body) and the legs are way easier to move from the beginning. My daughter loves this doll as much as the other one, but I figured someone would benefit from knowing that about the soft body. These dolls are a wonderful alternative to the overpriced 18 inch dolls we hear SO MUCH about!! :-)
I bought this doll and the ballerina doll as Christmas gifts for my 10 year old. She wanted another American Doll, but with the high prices of those, I found this to be a great, inexpensive alternative. I was able to get 2 My Life dolls, the bed, and the sofa for less 1 American doll. She fits the American dolls clothing and is the exact size for all of the other accessories. My daughter was just as excited and plays with her My Life dolls just as much as the American Doll. There's no difference, only in this is a much better price. Excellent purchase!

My girl will be very pleased with this for Christmas.
It worked out real good grandaughter is just going to be 2. But her sister is 7 and she has about 6 of these dolls and she loves them. Well the little one is always wanting hers so this is why i got her this one. She is just really simple and no little things. So just right for the 2 year old.
My baby hasn't put her baby down since Christmas so happy ... She changes her clothes and plays with her all day
My granddaughter came to visit the week before her 7th birthday. Her 9 yr old sister has My Life dolls, but she did not. So it was the one thing she wanted. According to walmart.com, there were only 2 stock in locally for pick up. The one her older sister REALLY wanted, and this one. This one is dressed like she dresses; and if you cut the hair, it would look very much like her. BUT...it is not quite as tall as the other My Life dolls -- again, not a big deal as this is for the little sister. The other thing is, that there is no stuffed fabric used in the doll's body. The doll is made entirely of the plastic material. I think this disappointed the adults more than the girls. The girls were excited, as thought that meant they could take her in the bath tub. (Though I suggested thay not do that.) So, while I have never given a gift that drew the excitement she displayed when she opened this doll, I would've liked to have known about the size and material issues.
I bought this doll on an online special for $12.00. She is a little smaller than the My Life dolls. Also, her body is not a soft fabric body. Her hair makes nice braids. I enjoy knitting doll clothes, and got her so I could make some clothes for her and give her away some day. She is a very sweet and pretty doll. I feel that though I will have to adjust the patterns a little to fit her perfectly, she was a very excellent value.
We have bought the dolls for of my granddaughters and I won't waste my money on another one. The legs are awful, they twist and won't stay straight; you can't bend them so the dolls sit down, because of the legs. If it was just one doll it would be different, but 5! No more, not worth $30.
