My child participates in Jr. Paralympic sports. Thank you so much for creating this doll. People tend to forget that little kids with disabilities want toys that look like them. Now, how about a little wheelchair racer and wheelchair basketball player, and kids of different races? We would buy them all and help promote them too!
I love that Walmart has used my daughter Averie as an example for this doll. There are several little girls that call this "their Averie doll". Hopefully some other little girl with a disability will be inspired to do gymnastics also. Please feel free to contact me, Thanks
They fact that she has a disability. Shows anyone can do anything. I'm a mom of a disabled child.

So pleased to this otherwise unrepresented segment of society finally gain some shelf space. I can only imagine how uplifting it is to the self esteem of children faced with differences to see images of themselves integrated with other dolls. The next best move would be to represent as many ethnic groups as possible.
I love this so much. I want my kids to grow up believing that obstacles should not stop you from reaching your dream. After watching the paralympics, this doll is next and they love it very much. I think there should be more dolls like this instead of blonde super skinny perfect body doll.
